This was an imported bike that came in for various areas to be fixed. One was definitely the carbs and the connection boots for this. They were cracked and 2 were actually ripped which caused starting issues. I decided to go to Webike for these and not the USA dealer as the price was far better and the import fees would have been crippling. Finding the right boots was a little annoying and tricky as this was an imported bike but got there in the end. I obviously needed a set of 4 and Webike price was really great for the full set. With a couple of other parts in my order, I got them all shipped together to save on a bit of shipping costs. Just 5 days after the order was shipped it arrived in the UK. The box was very well packaged and all the individual parts were wrapped accordingly. These boots were all kept together and surrounded by bubble wrap to keep them safe. I was very surprised when I opened the Honda packets to find that the boots were actually really flexible. Not what I expected at all. The quality looks and feels excellent and there were no extras pieces on any of the boots. Fitting was easy enough if you know what you are doing. This was a little maintenance and mini service for the CBF125 which was in need of oil filter, air filter and oil change. This was the oil cleaner (oil filter). I decided to go for the OEM parts as I know I can count on them for top quality and they last a long time too. I found the right parts by simply using the help section on Webike and cross referenced with Honda schematics. From there, you can determine what is the exact part you need. Brilliant price for this oil cleaner and the air filter which were both cheaper than could be sourced locally. I had a couple of other parts in this order and EMS got them delivered in 5 days from being shipped. The oil filter came in the standard Honda packet and was also surrounded with padding. This classic bike came in for a few small parts that needed changing due to age related issues. The owner wanted to keep the bike as genuine as possible. One of the parts that was a little bit old and not good looking was the rear flasher stay. The old one had lost all of the black glossy paint which it originally came with. Finding the right part number for this was easier than I expected it to be. With the help of Yamaha schematics I found what I was looking for. On checking Webike website, the part was actually available and in stock in the warehouse. Great news. The price was as expected and very reasonable. Shipping was low cost using EMS and the order arrived in 7 days. The stay unit came in a see through Yamaha packet and was also inside a bubble wrap envelope. No damage to any of it. The stay itself is a stunning part, the glossy black is super shiny and both the mount holes are perfect. Quality wise, I could not ask for anything better. I wanted to make this little bike more presentable and a lot of the consumable parts were looking old and in need of some tlc. One of the parts that was bothering me was the kick lever cover which was worn through and hanging off. Time for a new one. Not a hard part to find as this cover does fit a lot of Yamaha models from early 70's all the way through to the newer small kids bikes. Once I found the right part number, I checked Webike website and found a really good deal for it. With some other parts for this bike already in my basket, I got them all shipped together to save money on the shipping fees. In a matter of 7 days the order arrived. The cover lever was packaged really well, it came in the standard Yamaha packaging and inside a bubble wrap envelope too. The cover itself is a moulded rubber one that is well made. The moulding is accurate and there were no extra pieces of rubber hanging off which just shows the top quality of the genuine Yamaha part. Fitting is easy as it is literally a push on fit, a tiny bit of brake cleaner helped this to be put in situ easier. I had been looking to spruce up this Monkey when it came in with a genuine Honda Monkey emblem on the left panel of the bike. Yes, I could get them printed at a local store but why do that when you can get hold of the genuine Honda ones as cheap as this. Not a hard part to find once you know the size you need and a rough model of bike that this is for. This was the side panel emblem which did not need to be the exact same as the other side as I was also buying the right hand side anyway. Along with the right hand side decal and some other parts, all shipped together by EMS and delivered in 7 days. Everything in the package was packed neatly and securely and these were kept flat as you don't want bent emblems. They look super slick and crisp edges makes the world of difference. This genuine Honda Monkey emblem is a gorgeous black outer edge with accents of red to go with the bike's colour scheme, the inner is crisp white. It is a flat but slightly gel looking decal/emblem and all the colours are super clean too perfect. I have had some in the past for other bikes that look slightly grey on the black part but not these, perfect match for the bike colour scheme. Now this is on, the bike looks like a proper machine. This was a part that needed changing on the FZ1 bike that came in for a service. The air filter was pretty bad and very dirty which was only having a negative effect on the bike's running. The correct air filter was easy to find using the tools and help section on Webike pages. I also cross referenced with Yamaha schematics for my own peace of mind. The air filter was really good value and slightly cheaper than I could source locally at my nearest Yamaha parts dealer. I chose EMS for my courier as they just get my orders delivered fast. 5 days from shipping my order arrived. Everything in the order was extra well packed with bubble wrap for security. The air filter is not a massive one especially for such a bike but you do need it to fit as it should. The old one had gotten a little funny shaped and was not sitting right. This new one however, fits perfectly. The air filter came in the usual Yamaha packaging. Fitting is easy, the filter is not doing what it is supposed to do and the bike does sound better for it.
