Suspension units, such as shock absorbers and front forks, are machines that produce resistance force.
In accordance with the laws of physics, the damping force is used to oppose the unrestrained movement of the motorcycle.
It helps to keep the body from moving too much and to make it easier to move when it is necessary but not possible.
The main task is to correct incorrect movements that adversely affect handling stability and behavior that makes the rider uncomfortable.
The sum of the damping force generated by the valve mechanism and the friction is all the damping force generated by the suspension unit.
The problem is the uncertainty of the friction, which can be described as iridescent color.
In the region where the stroke speed is high and strong damping force is generated, the friction ratio is negligibly small.However, in the low speed range where the damping force is small, friction accounts for the majority of the damping force.
This is the moment when the stroke starts and the moment when the stroke reverses, but the problem is that the rider is sensitive to this area and it determines the quality of the ride itself.If it is not taken care, "man and horse as one" will end up being an endless dream.
Of course, friction is different when it's new and when it's been used, and it's different at the beginning and end of the day.It's affected by weather and temperature.
The damping force is produced by the damping generation mechanism as designed, and the friction is affected by the environment.

The only decision made prior to development was the diameter of the inner tube, which is 43mm, and this is a completely brand new model that was redesigned from scratch.
The cleanest front fork in the world, with no waste and only the most important features.
The latest technology has been poured into the fork to achieve the same rigidity as an upside down fork and the lowest friction of any Ohlins fork.
The components have been thoroughly polished to create a beautiful upright front fork that will satisfy even the most discerning rider.

●The one-way cartridge (NIX25) has a proven track record in inverted applications such as FGRT200 series and FGK cartridges.
●Fully independent 20-way wide-range compression and 20-way rebound damping adjustment integrated into the top cap.
●The top cap shares the same design as the upside down fork, which pursues functional beauty.
●The preload adjustment function up to MAX 15mm does not affect the stroke length.
●The bottom bracket that achieves high rigidity of the axle.It is compatible with axle shafts up to Φ25.
●The caliper bracket is machined from 7075 aluminum and is a functional, separate unit.
●8 setup springs with different rates from 7.5 to 11.0 N-mm are available as options.
●Two color variations: black and gold.

■Cartridge
Newly adopted one-way cartridges with pressure side on the left and rebound side on the right (from the rider's point of view while riding).
For the first time, the core technology that underpins the performance of an inverted fork has been transferred to an upright fork.

■Top Cap
The cap bolt has a new structure that does not cause stroke variation due to initial adjustment.
The design is based on the upside down inner tube diameter of Φ43mm.

■Outer tube
Redesigned axle bracket section for deeper mating length.
Smooth operation and high rigidity.Dust seal with inner tube is equipped with garter spring to improve dust resistance and durability.

■Inner tube
Low friction specification developed for inverted forks.Compared with conventional products, we have added a polishing process using an extremely small compound to achieve even lower friction.

■Bottom Bracket
The new cartridge eliminates the base valve part that used to exist in conventional products.
The group of adjustment function is integrated into the top cap.Intuitive and easy to understand adjustment function.
The forged parts are carefully machined to achieve high rigidity around the axle.

■Spring & Guide
In order to cope with a wide range of spring rate requirements, upside down springs are used.
Newly installed plastic spring guide.Prevents contact with inner tube, reduces friction, improves quietness, and improves oil deterioration.

■Top Out Spring
A top-out spring on the cartridge side replaces the conventional restriction at the end of the cylinder and inner tube.
It has a soft touch and smooth cutting characteristics.

■Finish work
High-grade anodized aluminum exterior is available in gold or black.
The top cap and bottom bracket are finished in titanium gray, and the logo is laser engraved.
