Honda has added the"Sword Silver Metallic" which is an urban style image as a new color variation to the large naked Road sports model "CB1000R" which is equipped with a high-performance liquid-cooled 4-stroke, DOHC 4-valve, and an in-line 4-cylinder 1000cc engine in a light and compact body. In addition, ETC2.0 on-vehicle equipment *Honda Dream will be released on December 14 (Friday) with 1 as STD equipment.

The color variation is set as an additional color "Sword Silver Metallic" of a sophisticated adult image that shines in the city. All 3 colors were set together with the traditional high-quality vivid Candy Chromosphere Red and the fearless graphite black. In addition, ETC2.0, which is scheduled to provide a variety of information on ETC onboard devices that have been installed as STD equipment in the past, will be released in the future upgraded to on-vehicle equipment.
The CB1000R is a model that maximizes driving performance and embodies high-quality driving by centralizing mass and reducing weight in order to achieve the universal appeal of a sports bike. The throttle-by-wire system that reacts linearly to the throttle grip operation is adopted, and the running mode can be selected from 4 types of preset modes of "SPORT", "STD" and "RAIN" and "USER" mode that the user can arbitrarily set. In addition, electronic control technology such as a quick shifter that possible to change shift without clutches and throttle operation during driving has been adopted.
