■ Team Name: Webike Tati team TRICK STAR
■ Rider: Julien Enjolras/Kevin Denis/Osamu Deguchi
■ Directed by: Patrick Patrick Enjolras/Rtyuji Tsuruta
■ Preliminary Round 17th Place
Final Game Overall 8th Place/SST 2nd Place

The first preliminary round was held on 13th of Thursday, and it causes troubles that have not happened so far in free practice, and it makes impossible to time attack satisfactorily. The original performance was not being able to demonstrate and it is not a satisfactory ranking at the total average time of the 3 players who becomes the provision of the preliminary round at No. 21th.

The next day on the day of 14th, after the 2nd preliminary round, the trouble was resolved and each rider showed their own best performance. At first, Julien Enjolras rides for the first preliminary round. He challenged the time attack by choosing the tire for the final race. The attacked was aggressively from the first lap and carved at the best time for each sector.

He finally took the best time in 1-minute and 57-seconds in the 4th lap, and then took a leap to assume the final, then ride the qualifying time and reached the rank of the 17th place. Next, Kevin Denis rides as the second rider. He also showed a ride that he missed from the previous day. The self best time is updated yearly, and the self record is engraved every sector.

However, an accident occurs in the course, and the red flag is interrupted. Kevin was a good player, but in this qualifying time, the red flag was being interrupted twice and it is the hardest time to concentrate on getting them.
In such a difficult situation, Kevin got inspired and gave 1-minute 57-seconds 858 time on 8th lap, and be able to finish the qualifying in 14th. The last rider is Deguchi Osamu.

The used tire has been selected at first and took a strategy to replace it with a fresh tire on the way and apply a time attack. It took a time to exceed the time of the first self preliminary round already on the first lap of measurement, and replaced fresh tires after several laps. It shortens the time until 1: 58/198 which will update his best.
It was sealed away to the player who is slow in time, even if it put a time attack further. It is impossible to take a clear lap of one lap, and was not connected to time up. But, the best time for each sector would be to ride at a pace around the middle of a 1-minute 57 seconds. This was evidence that we were able to ride in a time that did not change with the 2-riders, and the team felt a good response. It is finished in the qualifying on the position of overall No. 17, and the result is set in No. 13th, and the combined time of 3 riders.

The start was cut off with a dry condition of the road surface temperature of 42-degrees, and it was 3 o’clock in the afternoon on a sunny day with a temperature of 27-degrees Celsius. The player Julien was in charge of the START. It goes through the Opening Grip by No. 17th.

A large group ride through the Paul Ricard circuit with a roaring sound. The player Julien at the opening was calm and kept riding at the pace behind the ranking. It came back to the pit after 24 laps and steadily took a lap in the 1-minute 58-second in 1-minute 59-second class to be the No. 4th, and rides through the first stint at No. 16th overall.

"It changed riders from Julien to Kevin, and went on the course to finish gasoline refueling. Kevin, who was in the course, had a stable ride at the same pace as Julien.
It took 1-hour and remains the class No. 4th and 16th overall."

The player Kevin carefully pulled out one by one because it has increased the number of vehicles that have been delayed for this time. In the 3rd stint, it turns finally to the player Deguchi. It replaced only gasoline refueling and rear tires and went pitted out.

"However, after that, an accident occurred in the course, and the safety motorcycle intervened and the race was controlled. The timing was bad, and the player DEGUCHI who was riding on the pit road would be stopped at the pit gate. This is not a rule, but it is a bad timing and waits for the second safety motorcycle to ride away, and it reached the last tail of the riders following that vehicle.
Moreover, the player Deguchi who ride into the safety motorcycle group suddenly came back to pit."

"The reason is a translation that the player Deguchi who saw it accidentally pitted in, because a sign of a pit-in was posted on the signboard by mistake.
Immediately he made a mistake and noticed that he left the pit as it was. It makes him able to reach the end of the group of the same safety motorcycle because it is luckily the gate was open, and it is worth hurrying to pit out quickly."

However, the loss of approximately 30-seconds occurred here, and one lap difference came from the team which went ahead. After that, the player Deguchi focused on catching up to make up for lost and continued to catch up. About a month ago, he fell in the Suzuka 8-hour Endurance Road Race, and he managed to adjust from a major injury that fractured 3-locations of his collarbone and pubic bone, and his obsession with the ride was there. In the preliminary test 2-weeks ago, he was finally able to crawl to the machine, and he was showing a ride comparable to the 2-team mates who became SST class champion last season.

It took 3-hours, and it succeeded to position up to No. 13th, and the ranking is class 3rd place, even in overall. The race progressed smoothly, and after 5-hours passed, it was wrapped in dusk and moved to a night session. And, the 3-riders kept riding at a good pace steadily even at night. Among them, the player Deguchi ride at a pace, unchanged from the daytime and ranked higher.

"It ranked 3rd place in class and 12th place overall after 6-hours. It was approximately 1-minute behind the previous machine. Both of the players Julien and Kevin were very calm and still continued to ride without disturbing the pace. It seems 8-hours passed and an accident occurred in the top team, and the ranking was ranked in 3rd place in the class, and were able to raise the overall to 9th place. It was a bonus point of 2-points added to the rule of the 24-hour race with this 8-hour timing. It keeps getting up at night and the 3-riders are still steadily carving laps.
It was well connected without pit work and no big mistake."

"However, the quick fastener which stopped the upper cowl and the under cowl dropped from around 10-hours past, and the trouble occurred that the right side of the under cowling was hooked.
At first it was done with first aid, and managed to ride it, but replaced the under cowling at the 13th time of the routine work. A loss of approximately 1-minute has occurred."

It was after 12-hours and the race also went back. The ranking is 12th place in the class 3rd place overall. And, the 3-riders who kept pace calmly and took a steady ride without imposing excess of delay. It is also worthy in 16-hour, which it succeeded in going up to the 2nd place in class and overall 9th place. In addition, bonus points were added at the end of this 16-hours.

The time is getting brighter around 7am in the morning. And, the temperature is 18-degrees and the wind was feeling cold a little. The EWC’s top team was dawned from nighttime, suffering from trouble, and had been replaced by the ranking.

The No. 4 Webike Tati Team TRICKSTAR kept riding smoothly and hold it aside. It finally succeeded in raising the ranking to the 2nd place in class and 8th place overall after 20 hours. The appearance of the survival race will become more prominent when coming so far, and the top will also change confusingly. The rider and the crew who support it are exempted, but it doesn’t mind. The machine caused vibrations in the front tire at the right corner.

It got lost as to whether to replace the tire, but the team prudently pulled to routine time even though it slowed the pace. The riders managed to calm down, and escaped the difficulty of riding carefully. After all, the problem was eliminated after the tire exchange was done in after all routine. After the afternoon, it is finally the last hour, and the last time was from the player Deguchi to Julien. Julien had not changed so far, but had a little pace and continued steady riding. A 24-hour marathon race checker was shaken at 3pm on the 16th, and the team was able to reach the goal with a wonderful ranking of 2nd in class and 8th overall.

Julien Enjolras

"I am very glad to have good results in this race. As a new joint team, I am satisfied with the results of the race. This is a good start to a new challenge. I really appreciate the sponsors and the people who support me. I’ll do my best to get the next Le Mans good grades. Thank you for your support."

Kevin Denis

I am very happy to be on the podium at this place again. The crew of the team did a good job, and the player Deguchi who joined the team for the first time were very fast. Thank you to all the sponsors and who have supported us at the end, and the fans who are cheering. Please cheer me up because I will try harder next time.

Deguchi Osamu

First of all, Thank you for each sponsor company, and related companies who gave us a lot of effort, during the 2018-2019 World Endurance Championship Opening Campaign Bol D’or participation, and to Mr. Tsuruta of TRICK STAR Racing who offered to fight this new season together.

This year, is not a single participation as a TRICK STAR Racing who has long been enrolled so far, and last year’s World Endurance Championship SST Class Champion Team, and it became a joint team with the French Tati Team, making full use of the know-how and strengths of the European round, and the final battle Suzuka. It started with an attempt to aim for the World Endurance Championship champion again.

First of all, it was the first job to establish communication and trust with them, as the center of the race management of the Europe round starting from BOL D’OR 24 hours will be the Tati team, but at first TRICK STAR Racing, And, still the time is the criterion whether it can be accepted as its representative player or not, and it is a tough situation where injuries at the Suzuka 8 Endurance can not be healed. In addition, I have to say that this is the first SST-class machine I’ve ever been on, and honestly I’ve never felt any pressure.

Fortunately, BOL D’OR was able to focus on getting used to the machine because of a good compatibility course that won the podium when participating in the TRICK STAR 2-years ago. There was advice from a new teammate, and we were able to put out a time comparable to them at an early stage and mutual partnership deepened.

In the long race of -24 hours, I got into the 2nd place in class and overall 8th place, and I was able to start the season in the best form as the first battle. After the race, I felt that both teams who join in a real sense by hugging each other and sharing joy with each other hearted together became one, at that moment, I was able to feel the refreshed that had been released from the great pressure.

The second match will be Le Mans 24-hours in April next year. At first, priority is given to cure of injuries, and please continue to support us because we will prepare firmly to be able to welcome the next race in a perfect condition.

Patrick Enjolas

It has been a challenge to join TRICK STAR from this season and have a new challenge and the chances for the title have grown very much. It is an honored to start with this kind of a good result in the first race of the challenge. The 3-riders also ride good and the crews who supported it also did a good job. Although, there were a few problems with the race, but still it was able to carry out almost successful as we assumed. Thanks to WEBIKE, other sponsors, crew of the team, stakeholder and fans that this kind of result was being able to guide. We will also aim for even better results with tags with the TRICKSTAR in the next race.

Ryuji Tsuruta

"That feeling of being deeply impressed with a big pleasure to get this kind of result in this race where I get restarted. It is the way in the world that was about to give up, but the good thing is that we can race together with the Tati Team led by Mr. Patrick Enjolras, who is a wonderful partner came across in a foreign country, and the thought that it would be a pleasure to be on the podium again in the World Endurance places like this again.
Actually, this time, the feeling of joining in the Tati Team and having experienced the race is to say that it is a champion team indeed. The plan and assembly of the race is solid, and it is a place where always go to a calm place and clarifies everything in advance. The commandment of Patrick, who is directing it, is splendid and it makes learning so many things from him.
The Riders, Julian and Kevin, were the only players who won the title last year, and they were really calm and clever. They had a good understanding of the endurance race, and it is the thought that the place where it was possible to carry out it surely was amazing."

"Julian had a great feeling that he was able to take the action of wearing the final tire without any hesitation and choosing a soft tire for qualifying, and concentrating on the final. Kevin had a surreal ride, continued to keep the fast lap times steady, and the almost uneven riding was no longer a job that could be said to be an endurance specialist.
The players Deguchi who participated from Japan did really a good job. "

I was very worried about the injuries I had suffered from the last Suzuka, but I was able to overcome the pain and pressure and led me to the podium brilliantly. During the night riding, it was a great ride to catch up on the delay and contributed a lot to the team. I am very proud.

All of the crews also have a high level of attitude and skill to concentrate on the race without floating Places. The team work is better than anything, and there is always an atmosphere where everyone is calm, and it is very easy to have Race. It has been convincing to be able to catch the title with this team again, even from the above.

Finally, we are grateful to all the fans who have always been cheering for the warm support of Webike, Dunlop-like sponsors and supporters, who have helped us with our challenge.
