[News Flash] Long-awaited forged aluminum wheels now available for the CT125! Go tubeless for an SUV Custom style!
Motorcycle parts manufacturer ACTIVE displayed an SUV custom CT125 Hunter Cub at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show from March 28-30, 2025!
Conquer rough roads no problem! SUV-style ACTIVE CT125
The Honda CT125 is popular for a wide range of uses, including city riding and touring. The 17-inch wheels and block tires for the front and rear allow this custom to be ridden on rough roads, and the gear equipped will appeal to adventure bike enthusiasts. This ACTIVE SUV Custom is a CT125 with "extreme" adventure specifications.
The customized parts include the wheels, oil cooler, rear shock, steering damper, left brake master cylinder, front and rear calipers, performance damper, wide footpegs, and more.
The wheels are GALE SPEED's new forged aluminum "Type-X". These cross-country style wheels are strong enough for rough roads and have a tough look reminiscent of a four-wheeler. As the name suggests, they have a X (cross) mesh spoke design and are designed for off-road riding with strength in the rim flange. The ability to go tubeless is also a major advantage. They are scheduled for delivery around August 2025.
The rear shocks are from HYPERPRO, and are a tank type with hoses, which is rare for a twin shock. In addition to preload and rebound damping, compression damping can also be adjusted. The tanks are located on either side of the rear cowl, which adds to the design. This was a sample exhibit.
The bike is also equipped with a CT125-specific Round Oil Cooler Kit by ACTIVE, which features a space-saving and highly effective round core (9-inch 7-row). This is currently under development for release.
Another unique part is the Elaborate VRE Left Brake Master Cylinder from GALE SPEED. As the name suggests, this part allows the bike to be fitted with a left brake lever, which is a great feature that allows you to control the rear brake with the left hand while leaving the right foot brake and ABS in place. Incidentally, the kit is not yet available for the CT125, but ACTIVE is considering it.
Many CT125 owners are sure to be excited by this ACTIVE custom.
