Do you ever stress about how you're going to carry things when you go for a ride? Touring often involves an unexpected increase in the amount of luggage you carry. You may have packed a backpack and set off, but bought souvenirs along the way, or added more and more things you need for camping overnight. In such cases, a convenient solution is a bag that attaches directly to the bike. There are various types of bags, and their names change depending on where they are attached. For example, there are "seat bags," which are fastened to the pillion seat, "side bags," which are attached to the sides of the bike, and "tank bags," which are placed on top of the fuel tank.

The SP Takegawa "Multi Touring Bag" introduced here is just that, a multi-purpose touring bag that can be attached to any of these places. It is equipped with two nylon belts, MOLLE system straps, and D-rings, and can be freely attached to the bike's stock/custom racks, as well as to the handlebars and leg guards, which are normally difficult to attach to, by using the various attachment parts included with the product.

■Nylon belts (with hooks) can be attached to the mirror shafts and hooked to the D-rings for mounting on the handlebars.

Compact yet high capacity

The main area of the bag features approximately 6.8L of storage, with a clear pocket (with zipper) on the outer lid, a mesh pocket on the inner lid, and two pockets on the inside. The clear pocket can be used to store maps or smartphones, which can be checked from the outside without having to take them out after you stop. In addition, the clear sheet is touch panel compatible, contributing to the high level of convenience.

The outer center pocket has a semi-hard, three-dimensional resin body and approximately 1.4L of storage space. The side pockets on the left and right sides are equipped with 0.6L compartments, so despite its compact size (330mm x 180mm x 180mm), it has a maximum capacity of 9.4L. In addition, it has a waterproof zipper to prevent rain from entering, and comes with a rain cover and a sling belt with shoulder pad for easy carrying.

We highly recommend this bag for those who enjoy solo camping and those who want to carry more stuff but do not want to carry a large bag.
