REBEL1100 21- STEP HOLD PLATE
Bolt-on replacement for OEM step guards.The bike body is enlarged so that it can be held by the feet for ease of operation.
Made of highly rigid aluminum alloy.
Every detail has been machined to achieve both rigidity and light weight.
The surface engraving process uses a simple pattern that does not damage the riding shoes while providing an appropriate level of grip.
Black anodized finish that blends well with the blacked-out engine area.

It works for my purposes. I use it with TREX Racing forward controlr
I used the heel guard to replace the plastic bulge guard that comes OEM. It works great with my forward controls and I am pleased with my purchase. I removed 1 Star because if used on the standard OEM peg set up, the left side forms a sharp edge that can make you arch hurt if you toe out and your heel goes ineard.You don't have this issue on the right side because the crankcase cover prevents your heel from moving inward. YMMV.The last pictures are of the guards mounted on the bike with OEM peg position. You can see the sharp angle and how your left foot can have the heel go inwards into the sharp edge of the left guard. On the pictures of the right side you can see from the pictures it is a flat smooth transition due to the crankcase cover preventing your foot s heel moving in and the frame for foot pegs is not cut away as on the left side.

Left increases the sense of Hold, but Right is a complete bonsai.
Without a little more overhang, the Crankcase will not serve any purpose because it is sticking out.
REBEL is a Motorcycle that can provide a good Knee grip, but a heel hold would also be helpful.
OEM heel plates? are an added bonus, so please contact us at ・・・・.

Good texture & Grip improvement
Easy installation, only took 10 minutes. I didn't find it to be very effective, but it certainly makes it easier to get a good knee grip and may be effective for longer periods of time (touring). The texture is also good and not as good as OEM.
