The TVM-01 is for electric and mechanical tachometer bikes only, but negative pulse ignition bikes (SR, Serow, KLX, D-Tracker, etc.) require this PG-660.
*Negative pulse ignition is a bike with only one wire (positive wire) connected to the ignition coil and the negative side is body grounded.
