DOREMI Custom Parts for the Z900RS

DOREMI COLLECTION has established a solid position as a prestigious repro parts for old motorcycle, but not only that. Taking advantage of the technology cultivated in the development of repro parts, DOREMI is developing many original parts that make the latest Z900RS more Z-like.

I will introduce here the Z900RS custom parts made of the DOREMI COLLECTION who are specialists of Z. The parts that have been involved in the original Z series for many years and have a refined sense are worth seeing!

1. Plated quadruple exhaust system street 4 Japanese vehicle inspection correspondence for the Z900RS / CAFÉ

After the announcement of the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2017, many people asked, "Isn't plating available?", a popular product whose production was decided before the release of the black (attached to the Motor Show model). Thanks to that, the first production was sold out, but currently the secondary production is ongoing. If you couldn't get the first production, make a reservation now.

This is a quadruple exhaust system with JMCA approved design registered product for the Z900RS. The exhaust system is made of steel with a noise volume of 89db, and fixed baffle welding. The O2 sensor (lambda oxygen sensor) uses the STD (the one attached to the motorcycle).

2. Quadruple exhaust system optional fake twin shock for the Z900RS / CAFÉ

 

The space under the seat is cool and refreshing. I was certainly worried when I tried its style to bring closer to the old Z1 as a representative. If you are a rider who supports the Z1 Style of DOREMI COLLECTION, you can picture out the old Z1 having a twin shock and you will see it's cool and refreshing from the beginning.

Thereupon, this optional bracket released in the market. It is a rear shock to use as an additional bracket for the quadruple exhaust system. The role of the rear shock is an optional part focuses on the only brackets left to the OEM mono shock.

3. Z1 Style tail cowl for the Z900RS / CAFÉ

 

This is the tail portion where I thought would make the best in the production of the Motor Show model.

The elegant tail line of Z characteristics is essential for the Z1 Style. As for the molding, the material is ABS plastic with the design obtained from the Z1 repro parts and the ZEPHYR series.

With respect to the installation, it is made with a commitment up to exactly the same mounting method as the Z900RS STD (with 7 fixed cowl locks).

OEM color painted products are also available.

The price for unpainted product is around 165 USD, for 2017-18 black and CAFÉ Green around 257 USD, and for fireball color around 321 USD

 

 

4. Line sticker for Z1 Style tail cowl

 

The tail cowl with Z1 Style commitment is thicker than the Z900RS STD tail cowl, and is made longer about 6cm behind.

Consequently, Z1 Style tail cowl makes me a little lonely even if it is a single color in STD without discomfort. So, I made a transfer stickers which is useful in such a case.

For Z1 Style tail cowl, the price for various transfer line sticker is around 18 USD.

 

 

5. Z1 type iron plated rear fender

 

If the tail cowl gets longer, you need a rear fender to match with it. With Z1 Style, it is made with iron plated rear fender based on the Z1 STD fender. The material is iron in consideration of the vibration of the motorcycle.

In addition, the Z1 custom classic LTD fenders are also line up. The tail lamps similar to the ZEPHYR are available in red and clear. Also, the blinker bracket can be selected according to your preference from 2 types: the Z1 blinker compatible type, and the Z900RS STD blinker compatible type.

6. Tail tidy kit

 

This tail tidy kit made its debut as a Z1 Style tail cowl prior to an iron plated fender.

Initially, the development of the Z1 tail lamp and the Z1 blinker was carried out only with the model, and there was a response from the Z900RS STD lamp ...Other than Z1 tail lamp + Z1 blinker, there is also a story behind the lined-up of Z1 tail lamp + STD blinker and STD tail lamp + STD blinker.

7. Grab bar / Side grip

 

The Z1 Style tail cowl is cool. However, because it is slightly thicker to balance the design, the STD fender interferes with the position where the blinker is installed.

Similarly, the OEM optional grab (pillion) bar cannot be used. But I want a grab bar! My wife told me that if I didn't install a grab bar she would not ride on it when pillion riding! A masterpiece of commitment has developed a special bracket to meet users' requests.

Furthermore, a lineup of side grips using the same bracket is also available.

8. Fork cover emblem

 

This is ideal for blindfold under the horn light.

It is available in two colors: black and plated. There are 3 characters of uppercase KAWASAKI, lowercase Kawasaki, and DOREMI, all of which are built-in, where you can enjoy assembling it like a plastic model after receiving it.

Moreover, the previous fork cover emblem did not correspond to the CAFÉ, but with a fork cover emblem with bracket correspond to the CAFÉ has also been released in response to users' requests!

The price for the fork cover emblem with bracket for the Z900RS is around 31.23 USD, and the fork cover emblem with a bracket for the Z900RS CAFÉ is around 39 USD.

 

 

9. Side cover / Front section / Emblem

 

The main side cover with split forward and backward, and the front matching its color has bulge reminiscent of the duct part of the Z1 air cleaner box.

The material is the same as OEM ABS plastic and the mounting is the same as the OEM.

The side cover emblem which becomes the key point and double-sided seal mounting type with the Z1 first design as well is available.

10. Stone cowl

 

In a cafe style with an upper cowl, I want to attach a cowl to the Z900RS to match on the old motorcycle.

The design of the stone cowl that has been sold in the DOREMI COLLECTION for a long time has been reshaped while keeping its design to fit with the Z900RS in combination with the developed exclusive bracket.

The painted product has a lineup of 3 colors: fireball color brown, metallic black up to the '18 model, and the latest model tiger color green.

11. Plated front fender

 

At the beginning of its debut, the No.1 Z1 Style was equipped with iron plated fenders, but since it was manufactured and mounted with a bracket, it will be expensive if released as it is. In addition, it will take some time before its release. But I want a plated fender since I experienced the Z1. Thus, this plated front fender was commercialized. The mounting material with ABS plastic is a masterpiece that can be mounted diverting the Z900RS OEM bracket as it is.

12. Core guard / Side accessories

 

It protects the radiator core from clogging and crushing caused by stepping stones. A high-precision mesh core guard inspired by the DOREMI "D" by etching made of stainless steel with sufficient consideration of cooling effect and aging.

The center, which received a lot of foreign objects rolled up from tires, has a finer mesh than both sides. The color is available in a silver and a chic black. Also, the side accessory serves as a one-point accent on the radiator side. It is a simple installation item only to replace the OEM parts.

13. Point cover set / Oil temperature gauge

 

When imagining the engine of the old motorcycle, it will get out to fight and stays where you going. I want its roughness. Furthermore, I would like to use the repro cover of the Z1 to create its original inheritance. The point cover base was developed with such thoughts. It was made possible to install the point cover for the Z1 by committing on the height.

Moreover, the lineup also includes a simple oil temperature gauge popular in the ZEPHYR series. This is a simple custom item because it only needs to be replaced with a filler cap.
