2. LED headlight installation

I will try the challenge to install LED headlights!

One of the disadvantages of LED headlight bulb is that LED chips are sensitive to heat and require solid heat dissipation and cooling. The introduced LED headlights here are splendid because they cool down firmly by the heat sink attached to the rear of the main unit! Furthermore, the LED controller is installed inside the heat sink, so it is good and compressed.

The installation method was only to replace the existing bulb. Depending on the motorcycle, the working time will be about 5 to 20 minutes. I installed it on the YAMAHA MT-09 since the headlight is easy to attach and detach the working time was about 5 minutes.

It would be easy if you already have experience in replacing the headlight bulb. If you have no experience, please challenge yourself. Let's try to install it.

2.1 Disassemble the LED headlight and H4 adapter.

2.2 Remove the OEM bulb and install the H4 adapter that was separated in step 1.

2.3 Install the LED headlight.

2.4 Connect the LED headlight to the connector of the motorcycle.

2.5 Wrap the connector with insulation tape.

*This is not a necessary task, but depending on the motorcycle, the connection may be loose, so it is better to wrap it around according to the situation.

2.6 Return the head case to its original state and done.

What do you think? It's easier than changing engine oil. Right?

There are other things to worry about such as switching on HI or LOW, the temperature, and color. In here, I will show you the LEDs in the video.

Some parts are difficult to understand, such as the difference between 3000K and 4300K, but I'm glad to be able to choose according to your preference! In the case of conventional LED headlights, the high beam was often not so good, but the LED headlight that was installed the video has no problem.

For passing, it is not good to do with HID, but there is no problem for the LED that brightens immediately. The important night visibility is much better than halogen. At a level that is close to HID. Soon. I want also to introduce this LED in automobiles!
