Frequent maintenance is essential to keep your motorcycle in good condition. Washing your motorcycle is also a great maintenance because you can detect any abnormalities in your motorcycle as soon as possible. But when it comes time to wash the motorcycle, the first thing you have to do is pull out the hose, get a bucket of water, add detergent, and lather it up. It's kind of a hassle. I think that there are many people who have not been able to wash their motorcycles because of this hurdle.
If you're one of those people who want to wash your motorcycle, but it's a bit of a hassle, this is the article you need to read!
Will it become the new normal for motorcycle washing? Here are my impressions of Pro Staff's electric sprayer, ShineWASH!
ShineWASH

In the box you will find the spray itself, two different nozzles, instructions and a warranty card. AA batteries are not included. You will need to purchase them separately.
The following four detergents are designated as compatible products.
If you use other detergents with similar ingredients and ratios, you may not have a problem, but I don't recommend it.
Here's my step-by-step instructions on how to use this shine wash, followed by my impressions!
How to use Shine Wash
I borrowed my senior colleague T's beloved MT-09.
At first glance, it looks beautiful. However, only the rear fender area was badly dirty.
I'm so fired up for this!
Set the battery
Two AA batteries are used.
Put it in the case and tighten it with a click.
Fill the bottle with water
It can hold up to 1.1 liters of water. When spraying foam, adjust the amount of foam to match the amount of detergent you are using, so that the total amount is about 1 liter.
Select a nozzle
The nozzle on the left is for sprinkling water and the one on the right is for foam.
The sprinkler nozzle can change its spray pattern to either a vigorous straight spray or a gentle mist by adjusting the aperture (squeezing).
Verify the jetting power! Straight jetting to remove dirt!
Straight jets are used to remove dirt and mud from the surface, but the main concern at this time is the momentum of the jets. If it is too weak, the dirt will not be removed. To measure how much momentum I had, I did a straight jet horizontally from chest height.
As a result, we found out that the water jet has the power to reach about 5 meters away! It doesn't have the same force as a high-pressure washer or a hose, so it might be difficult to get stubborn dirt, but it was enough for light dirt on the undercarriage!
Foam spray to bring dirt to the surface
The foam will help to lift the dirt so that it can be removed with light force. To spray the foam, refill the bottle with water up to the specified amount, and then add the detergent.
In this case, we will use Fine Foam Car Shampoo.
Add 3 or 4 caps to 1 liter of water.
Switch the nozzle for foam. With this nozzle, the product is sprayed in a foamy state without any foaming at all.
When I sprayed it, it had more oomph than I thought it would!
Lather is good too!
Shine wash in one hand, sponge in the other
I recommend this combination move! Hold the shine wash in one hand and the sponge in the other. Spray the foam and immediately polish it with the sponge. Repeat this process.
You can wash your motorcycle efficiently by maximizing the effect of the foam while making sure you know exactly where you want to wash!
Gently flushes with mist spray
Return the contents of the bottle to water, adjust the nozzle, and gently shed foam and dirt with the mist spray.
Finally, lightly wipe off the water with a towel and you're done!
It's so beautiful!
I liked it here!
No more buckets at the motorcycle wash!
In the past, you would have to get a bucket of water, add the detergent to it, and bash and whisk. But with Shine Wash, you just add the detergent and it sprays foam without you having to do anything. No more lathering!
You can wash your motorcycle without worrying about the limited space.
This is great for those who want to wash their motorcycle on the tarmac at home, and unlike a hose, it can be sprayed regardless if there is no water tap nearby. Because it is compact and the intensity of the water spray can be adjusted, you can wash your motorcycle without worrying about the limited space where there is not much distance between you and other motorcycles.
You can wash it as soon as you feel like it!
As mentioned, it's a quick and easy motorcycle wash with little preparation, so you don't have to give up on the little bits of dirt that say, "oh well! You can wash the rear fender, which tends to get dirty easily, and the headlights, which often have bug marks stuck on them.
Watch out here!
Be careful not to misfire.
The sensitivity of the switch is quite severe. During preparation and carrying, I seem to have unintentionally touched the switch, causing a jet of water to spray and splash the walls and people.
It may not bother you once you get used to it, but make sure to remove the batteries or drain the bottle when not in use.
It can be used for many purposes!
I think the Shine Wash has a pretty wide range of uses, not just for washing motorcycles. You could use it to clean windows, water flowers in the garden, clean up after camping, and, while I don't recommend it, play in the water!
Personally, I wanted to clean the "screen door" by taking advantage of the feature that the foam can reach to the high position.
If you can quickly wash your motorcycle when you think, "Oh, it's dirty ......," you can keep your pride and joy clean forever. If you are able to wash your motorcycle easily and readily, it can help you avoid major problems if you can detect any abnormalities while they are still small.
Motorcycles are becoming more and more electric these days. It may be the new normal for motorcycle washing to follow this trend and go electric.
