The rearset for Z 900 RS/CAFE from Yoshimura is finally released. It is the appearance of the new step KIT, "X-TREAD" series where Yoshimura Spirits lives. It was made with the concept of "Enable dialogue with the machine".
The heel plate impressing that it is a step of Yoshimura reflects the skill and design of the step adopted for the GSX-R1000 Yoshimura Racer who gained a high reputation from the rider.
Special pedal bars with punched bars and rubber at the tip of the pedals for reliable operation are designed to further enhance the sense of unity between the rider and the machine, and the characteristic alumite color "slate gray". It is adopted in various Yoshimura parts, and emphasizes machines and exhaust, it releases its own presence.
It is Z900RS/CAFE which has neo retro sports, styling with attention to details and driving performance based on the latest technology. As well as the concept of "X-TREAD", the design of the heel plate reached by repeating many tests is tightening the styling of the vehicle. It is a selected part shape and material, in various running scenes, direct the rider's intention to the machine.

The heel plate is set to a shape that takes into consideration the strength that can withstand a strong hold and the operability that the riding boots are difficult to get caught. It can adjust 4 positions, it corresponds to various body types, riding style.
The fixed type step bar performs more complicated cutting than ordinary knurling, directs the operation such as loading and withdrawing to the vehicle body, and the pedal tip is of a rubber type which makes it possible to operate a reliable pedal which is hard to slip have adopted it.
It is possible to adjust the position of the pedal bar with 3 positions on the shift side and 2 positions on the brake side. It is engraved logo "Yoshimura X-TREAD" on the heel plate. An anodized color adopts "slate gray" and insists on a high quality presence.
Serial number is laser marked as a proof of high performance · high quality, this same serial number does not exist as two in this world.
It is used as the main material of grade aluminum alloy which is also used for aerospace equipment. By using an aluminum alloy with a reduced tension in the step bar, the step bar bends when falling, and it reduces damage to the base plate and frame.
