Honda Hornet 250 Owner Review

We will introduce Kyawa's passionate story about his riding experience with his beloved motorcycle, Hornet 250, from Webike Community's "My Beloved Moto" campaign. He told us about his review of the Hornet 250, including its advantages and disadvantages, which he knows well because he's the owner.

Brief self-introduction

Motorcycle history
It's been 32 years.

How to enjoy your motorcycle on a regular basis
I'm doing my best to go once a month, lightly hanging around in the vicinity (within 200km), almost always touching it.

How long have you been riding this motorcycle?
Got it in April 2017, completed the rebuild in August, made its public road debut, still in action!

Motive for purchase
I bought it because I wanted a little naked motorcycle that I happen to encounter in a non-flammable state as an unwanted motorcycle, and I was also drawn to the size of the tires that can be used for large old tires.

Satisfaction and Strengths

For applications
The concept of the motorcycle is to ride it around the neighborhood, camping touring, and two asses with the little guy. I can feel the wind and the heat from the engine is not too much, so I can ride in jeans and my butt does not hurt and I do not feel like a fawn after riding. All in all, it is an easy motorcycle to ride!

For riding
Even if you're desperate, it may not seem like much, but you'll feel like you're going fast when you're trying your hardest. The acceleration is like that of a 250cc 2-cylinder, but the more you can pull, the faster you'll feel.

For appearance
It's full of street fighter (although it's long), and I think it's good to have a feeling of doing my best for the rider.

Dissatisfaction and Weaknesses

For applications
I just did it to myself, and I can't see the bar-end mirror in all of the movement.

For riding
It gets less than 20k mileage when you spin it around, but it's actually not that fast (that's the Hornet). The turnaround is heavy (vehicle weight and caster angle). I couldn't forgive the cutting edge of the stock 16-inch brakes, so I changed it.

For appearance
I'm happy with my free ideas and the exterior of the motorcycle, but I can't deny the failure of the camping concept.

Summary

It's a safe ride because if you pull out the throttle on the normal premise, it will cut through, that's for sure. Other than that, it's a very docile vehicle, that's what most of us think. It travels at a constant speed while looking at the scenery at the speed that you can feel the wind. The price of a used motorcycle is going up, but if you ride it normally, there are few places where it breaks, so it can go to various places with you.

Thank you, Kyawa, for your passionate story of your beloved Hornet 250!
