NO REPEAT SPA EWC SUPERSTOCK WIN BUT AVIOBIKE GAINS VALUABLE DUCATI DATA
Aviobike WRS might not have made it back-to-back wins in the FIM Endurance World Championship’s Dunlop-equipped Superstock category in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos. TWO TEAMS, TWO EWC POINTS FINISHES FOR WÓJCIK
Wójcik Racing Team had double reason for satisfaction at the finish of the 8 Hours of Spa Motos. Running its Superstock team alongside its existing Formula EWC squad for the first time in 2025 having not done so during April’s 24 Heures Motos, Wójcik Racing Team finished fifth in the Dunlop-equipped FIM Endurance World Cup and 12th in the Formula EWC division. BMW ENTERS THE EWC TITLE CHAT WITH SPA PODIUM

BMRT’S TOUGH SPA EWC BREAK EXPLAINED
MAXXESS by BMRT 3D Pirelli Motul was an hour away from securing a top 10 finish in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos until late drama hit the Kawasaki-powered outfit. With Spaniard Isaac Viñales, Frenchman Mathieu Gines and home hero Loris Cresson, MAXXESS by BMRT 3D Pirelli Motul had started Belgium’s round of the FIM Endurance World Championship in an impressive sixth position. WHY TATI STAND-IN McPHEE RELISHED EWC DEBUT
John McPhee described his FIM Endurance World Championship debut as “an incredible experience” after he helped Tati Team AVA6 Racing finish the 8 Hours of Spa Motos as the second-best private outfit. He was recruited by the Honda-powered Tati Team to replace the injured Martin Renaudin and impressed with the speed at which he adapted to the EWC and the 6.985-kilometre Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. COOL HEADS IN EWC PLEASES MOTOBOX KREMER RACING CHIEF
Joint Motobox Kremer Racing boss Georg Haas said the ability of his riders to keep “a cool head” played a key role in the team’s capture of a top 10 finish in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos. The German squad placed 10th in Formula EWC in 15th overall. CLICK FOR FULL STORY.

EIGHT PROVED TO BE GREAT FOR TEAM RACING 85 IN THE EWC AT SPA
Superstock outfit Team Racing 85 by A2M2’s eighth place in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos was “a reward for all the team and riders who have worked hard over six months”. That’s according to Team Manager Stéphane Gaufreteau following the squad’s top 20 overall finish in Belgium’s round of the FIM Endurance World Championship. CLICK FOR FULL STORY.

BOLLIGER GAINS IN THE RAIN WITH MORE EWC POINTS AFTER COMEBACK RIDE
Team Bolliger Switzerland claimed more EWC points in the 8 Hours of Motos to continue its strong start to the 2025 season, its 44th in a row in the FIM Endurance World Championship. DAFY-RAC 41-HONDA OUT OF LUCK IN THE EWC AT SPA
Leading FIM Endurance World Cup squad Dafy-RAC 41-Honda went from finishing runner-up in Superstock in the 24 Heures Motos to retiring from the podium fight in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos due to a technical failure after 105 laps. CLICK FOR FULL STORY.

MERCKELBAGH VICTORY HELPS JMA REBOUND FROM EARLY SPA EWC EXIT
A pole to flag victory for Milan Merckelbagh in the latest Dutch championship counter helped to make up for JMA Racing Action Bike’s early exit from the 8 Hours of Spa Motos. Merckelbagh, from The Netherlands, was part JMA’s riding trio in round two of the Superstock-based FIM Endurance World Cup along with French pair Charles Cortot and Paul Dufour. ERC’S STRONG EWC RETURN CONTINUES WITH “SOLID” SPA SIXTH
ERC Endurance continued its strong FIM Endurance World Championship comeback with sixth place in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos. After claiming third in April’s 24 Heures Motos, its comeback race, ERC Endurance overcame the challenging Belgian weather to score more EWC points and finish as the top independent outfit courtesy of riders David Checa, Kenny Foray and Illya Mykhalchyk. WHY FIVE SECONDS IS EXTRA EWC MOTIVATION FOR MANA-AU COMPETITION
Independent team Mana-Au Competition plans to use the fact that it missed out on back-to-back top 15 finishes in the FIM Endurance World Championship by five seconds as a further source of motivation. The Honda-powered outfit’s line-up of Marco Fetz, Alexis Lamiré and Max Schmidt finished the recent 8 Hours of Spa Motos in 16th overall and 11th among the Formula EWC category contenders. Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team’s run of FIM Endurance World Championship victories at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps might have come to an end but Team Manager Mandy Kainz is not treating the Austrian outfit’s recent loss as a defeat. After winning the 24H SPA EWC Motos in 2023 and the first running of the 8 Hours of Spa Motos in 2024, Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team’s trio of Marvin Fritz, Karel Hanika and Jason O’Halloran had to settle for third place. TEAM LRP POLAND REFLECTS ON ITS SPA EWC HIGH AFTER “BEST” MOMENT
Team LRP Poland said running in the top six in Belgium’s round of the FIM Endurance World Championship was “the best moment”. Competing again in the EWC after a season away, Team LRP Poland finished 28th overall and 15th in Formula EWC with riders Enzo Boulom (pictured above), Marek Szkopek and Danny Webb, having run in the top 10 for the first two and a half hours of the rain-hit event. Dan Linfoot went from racing in the FIM Endurance World Championship-counting 8 Hours of Spa Motos to trying his hand at speedway ahead of ATPI FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Manchester R5 last month. After receiving expert guidance from Sweden’s six-time FIM Speedway world champion Tony Rickardsson and Tony Briggs – son of four-time FIM Speedway world champion Barry Briggs – Linfoot swapped his Yoshimura SERT Motul Suzuki GSX-R1000R for a 500cc Speedway GP machine – and took to the shale with ease.
