Remarkable performance

The Polish team Wojcik Racing Team was the most successful privateer team of the 2019-2020 FIM EWC season, competing in the FIM World Endurance Championship and the FIM Superstock World Cup on Yamaha machines. The Wojcik Racing Team finished in a respectable fourth place in both classes.

The Wójcik Racing Team finished a modest 27th in the 2018-2019 FIM World Endurance Championship in its second year in the formula class. Founded by owner Gudjegoj Wójcik, the Wojcik Racing Team has defied all expectations this season by finishing fourth in the overall team standings.

This spectacular performance by the Wojcik Racing Team began in heavy rain at the Castellet circuit in Bol d'Or. In Bol d'Or, Yamaha's #77 machine took the lead at the start and finished on the podium in second place thanks to Gino Rea, Christoffer Bergman, and Axel Maurin.

The following race, the 8 Hours of Sepang, was a disappointing affair, but at the next race, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the trio of Gino Rea, Broc Parkes and Axel Maurin finished ninth. At the final race of the season, the 12 Hours of Estoril in Portugal, the team of Gino Rea, Broc Parkes and Sheridan Morais returned to the podium with a third place finish.
