Troubles occur, but do not give up and aim for the best time.

Webike SRC Kawasaki France Trickstar under the leadership of Gilles STAFLER finished 6th in the 12 Hours of Estoril and 5th in the final team ranking. The World Endurance Championship came to an end under special circumstances such as long holidays and no spectators due to the global health scare caused by the new coronavirus, as well as confusing schedule changes due to the cancellation of the Suzuka and Bol d'Or races.

Even though the Estoril 12 Hour Race was held in Portugal for the first time, with fewer entries than usual, it didn't mean there were fewer competitors.

For the 08:00 AM (WEST) start, the start time was changed (to reduce the night time riding) and the number of mechanics supporting the start was limited to two per machine, but from the experience of the Kawasaki #1 team, these were not too big of a deal. Experienced rider David Checa was appointed as the first rider by the team manager Gilles STAFLER, and despite the strong wind and the track temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, which could cause him to fall, he got off to a good start, placing 8th at the end of the first lap.
