The 46th 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship "Coca-Cola" Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race, commonly known as the "Suzuka 8 Hours," will be held from Friday, August 1st to Sunday, August 3rd, 2025. Honda will be exhibiting the CB1000F SE Concept, a cowled version of the CB1000F, for the first time.
The silhouette shows a bikini cowl! With luxurious equipment such as a quick shifter, it will probably cost around 856.72.
The CB1000F concept was a hot topic at the Motorcycle Show, and while there were rumors of a commercial version, there were also rumors that there would be a derivative model. The rumors were that it would have a cowl, and it seems that prediction turned out to be correct.

A CG image previously shown on this website. We had predicted that the cowl shape would be round, following the T2, but in reality it appears to be flat.

Comparison with CG, the cowl shape emphasizes a more classic feel
The photo released by Honda is only a silhouette, but it is clear that a bikini cowl is attached. This information makes me think of the "CB1000SF T2", and I thought that the name of the motorcycle would also have "T2", but it will have a new name of "SE". Basically, models with the name SE are higher-equipped versions of the basic version, and this "CB1000F SE Concept" is no exception.
It is rumored that in addition to the bikini cowl, it will have special specifications such as a quick shifter and radiator cover. There is another additional specification, and if the sports performance is enhanced, it will be a strengthened suspension. As for the price, it is expected that the standard "CB1000F" will be around $9499.63, and the "CB1000F SE Concept" will be around $10856.72 if it is commercially available. As for the release dates, we have heard that the standard "CB1000F" will be released in November 2025, and the "CB1000F SE Concept" in January 2026. In any case, we will be able to see them at the Suzuka 8 Hours, which is less than a month away.

The "CB1000F SE" has finally arrived. It doesn't seem to have an under-cowl, but it's definitely a model specialized for riding.
The CB1000F engine start-up model was also unveiled for the first time! Will we finally get to hear the "sound" that they've been working on to the utmost?

About half a year after the unveiling, we can finally hear the engine sound.
In addition to the display of the "CB1000F SE Concept", a major topic this time is the display of the standard "CB1000F Concept" engine start-up model. The engine sound of the CB1000F has not yet been released, and the Suzuka 8 Hours will be the first time we can hear its "first cry".
The CB1000F is known for being made with great attention to "sound", and the attention to detail is extraordinary. First of all, as you know, the base of the engine is the same as the "CB1000 Hornet", but the ECU is specially designed and the settings are more focused on low and medium speeds.
And for the sound, the exhaust pipe assembly method is special, and it is equipped with two O2 sensors. Since they are so particular about the "sound", the engine start-up model is attracting a lot of attention. There is a possibility that a demonstration of the actual running will be held.

Indeed, if you look closely, you can see that it is equipped with two O2 sensors. What a sound they put so much effort into...
If you are going to the Suzuka 8 Hours, we hope you will enjoy the engine sound of the "CB1000F SE Concept" and the first F.
