BMW's EV scooter "CE 04" has undergone a model change overseas. This is the first specification change since its launch in 2022, and three variations with different equipment and new graphics have been introduced.

The BMW CE 04 is an EV scooter with a rated continuous output of 15kW (20 horsepower) that has been sold in Japan since 2022. The category is equivalent to 250cc and can be driven with a regular motorcycle license, but the water-cooled motor boasts a maximum output of 31kW (42 horsepower), accelerating from 0 to 50km/h in 2.6 seconds in urban riding such as starting at traffic lights, and a top speed of 120km/h, making it a model that is noteworthy for its high maneuverability that can also handle highways. The battery capacity is 60.6Ah (8.9kWh), and the cruising range is up to 130km (100km for the low-power model). It can be used not only for commuting but also for suburban touring on weekends.

The CE 04, which has undergone its first model change, has three types of lineup with basic equipment changes to suit different purposes while maintaining the same basic equipment and performance as before. The "Basic Model" is a standard specification that combines a light white body with a clear screen and black gray seats. The "Avant-garde Model" has a unique color scheme of Gravity Blue x Sao Paulo Yellow, with a tinted screen, laser-engraved wheel rims, and seats with yellow tape for a sporty image. And the "Exclusive Model" has a space silver metallic body with a large windscreen, comfort seats, seat heaters, hand protectors, etc. as standard equipment, emphasizing comfort. Practicality has been improved.
The newly released "Exclusive" model is equipped with a wide screen integrated with the hand guard, improving comfort while cruising.
The Avant-Garde has a new laser engraving on the rear wheel to enhance the sense of luxury.
Of course, the conventional convenient electronic control remains the same, and in addition to the three riding modes of "ECO / RAIN / ROAD", "DYNAMIC" mode is also available as an option, allowing you to freely customize the fun of riding. It is equipped with both safety and practicality, such as ABS Pro, DTC (Dynamic Traction Control), and tire pressure monitoring. The meter is a 10.25-inch TFT color display, and is equipped with map navigation, smartphone linkage, and a ventilated charging compartment compatible with USB-C, making it a smart device that stands out from conventional mobility as a running device.
