Yamaha Motor will release the 2025 model of the large sports naked "XSR700 ABS" on Friday, August 8th. The only minor change is a color change, and the lineup has been revamped to two colors, white and blue.
The price remains the same as before at $6812.91. Annual sales are planned to be 200 units.
The new color is a continuation of the classic RZ color! Two colors are available: "Yamaha Auto Center" blue and the overseas version white x orange.
The XSR700, which was released in 2016 and underwent a model change in 2022 to adopt LED headlights and other features, is a mid-size sports motorcycle equipped with a 688cc "CP2" in-line twin-cylinder engine that shares the basic design with the YZF-R7. It is positioned between the three models in the series lineup, 125, 700, and 900, and is popular as an entry model of Yamaha's sports machines, with an authentic design and neo-retro silhouette, a sporty engine that produces 73PS/8750rpm, and a compact and upright position that makes it easy to control.
Since the last model change, the XSR700 has attracted attention for its 80s-like graphics that reproduce the colors of the old mid-size sports "RZ250/350". This style is also followed in the new model that has been released this time, and the two colors in the lineup, "Radical White" and "Deep Purplish Blue Metallic", reproduce the colors used in the RZ250 in 1982. The white is thought to be the motif of the overseas model, and the blue is the motif of the Yamaha Auto Center (now Red Baron) limited model, but both are nostalgic for fans from the 80s and a fresh impression for modern riders.
The specifications and equipment are the same as before, and the price is also unchanged at $6812.91. It will go on sale on Friday, August 8th, with annual sales planned at 200 units.

With its round headlights, split fenders, and bolt-on rear frame, this model has a retro feel and plenty of room for customization.
