Ducati, an Italian manufacturer with a long history as a sports motorcycle manufacturer, has been expanding its presence in the MotoGP, winning consecutive world championships. Now that Ducati's 2025 models are complete, let's take a look at the lineup again. This time, we will introduce the adventure, motard, and MX models that are eagerly awaited for sale.

Adventure flagship "Multistrada V4/V4 S/V4 PIKES PEAK

The flagship of Ducati's adventure models, the "Multistrada V4" series, is equipped with a V4 Gran Turismo engine that produces a maximum output of 170 PS and a maximum torque of 124 Nm, mounted on an aluminum monocoque frame. The V4 S's suspension is a 50 mm diameter inverted front fork + rear monoshock, equipped with Sachs' semi-active suspension "Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) EVO". This DSS EVO has a motorcycle height lowering function that lowers the motorcycle height by up to 30 mm when the motorcycle speed is below 10 km/h, and returns to normal height when the speed exceeds 50 km/h. In addition, the V4 PIKES PEAK, which has improved on-road performance, is equipped with Ohlins electronically controlled suspension on the front and rear. The V4 and V4 S have wheel sizes of 19 in the front and 17 in the rear, and are equipped with Pirelli's "Scorpion Trail II" on-off tires, while the V4 PIKES PEAK is equipped with 17-inch Marchesini wheels and Pirelli's sports tires "Diablo Rosso IV". The latest electronic control system uses "Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO)", and is equipped with an advanced front and rear radar system that supports Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to reduce fatigue during long-distance rides and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) to notify the driver of motorcycles in the blind spot of the rearview mirror.

"Multistrada V2" equipped with "V2" engine/V2 S

The Multistrada V2 series is equipped with Ducati's new generation engine "V2", which uses a valve spring system instead of a desmodromic mechanism, mounted on a newly designed aluminum monocoque frame. The "V2" engine is equipped with a maximum output of 115.6 PS/10,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 92 Nm/8,250 rpm, and the gear ratio is set exclusively for the Multistrada. The suspension of the V2 is equipped with a Marzocchi 45 mm diameter front fork + shock absorber with progressive link, while the V2 S is equipped with Sachs' semi-active suspension "Ducati Skyhook Suspension" with electronic control. The wheel size is 19 inches in the front and 17 inches in the rear, and the tires are Pirelli's "Scorpion Trail II", which combines the characteristics of sports touring tires and dirt tires. There are five riding modes available: "Sport", "Touring", "Urban", "Enduro", and "Wet", which allow you to create the best performance for the road conditions and riding scenes.

Full-scale off-road motorcycle "Desert X"/Discovery/Rally"

The "Desert-X" series, an adventure model that allows for more serious off-road riding, is equipped with a 937cc Testastretta 11° L-type two-cylinder engine that produces 110 PS and is mounted on a steel trellis frame developed exclusively for off-road use. The wheel size is 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, and the tubeless cross-spoke wheels are fitted with Pirelli "Scorpion Rally" wheels. The front and rear suspension is made by KYB, with a 46mm diameter adjustable inverted fork at the front and an adjustable monoshock + aluminum double-supported swingarm at the rear, with wheel travel of 230mm at the front and 220mm at the rear. There are six riding modes available: Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, and Enduro and Rally, which are exclusive to off-road use. The lineup also includes the "Desert-X Rally," which has increased suspension stroke and ground clearance to improve off-road riding performance, and the "Desert-X Discovery," which has improved performance as a tourer with a touring front screen and protection bars.

"Hypermotard 698 Mono/RVE" equipped with a single engine

The Hypermotard 698 Mono series, Ducati's first single-cylinder road-going supermotard, is simple, lightweight, agile and developed as a true "fun motorcycle" with racing DNA. The power unit is a 659cc Superquadro Mono with a newly developed desmodromic valve drive system, which is a high-revving unit derived from the 1299 Panigale engine and produces a maximum output of 77.5 PS at 9750 rpm. The frame is a steel pipe trellis, and combined with a short aluminum swingarm of 572 mm, it achieves a wheelbase of 1443 mm. This combination of frame and engine keeps the vehicle weight down to 151 kg, giving it the fun of a supermotard and the precise front-end feeling typical of Ducati sports motorcycles. The suspension is equipped with a Marzocchi 45 mm diameter fully adjustable inverted front fork at the front and a Sachs fully adjustable shock at the rear. As a variation, the "Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE" is also available, which comes with a quick shifter and special graphics.

"Hypermotard 950/RVE/SP" equipped with Testastretta 11° L-Type Twin Cylinder

The Hypermotard 950 series is a supermotard that combines a 937cc Ducati Testastretta 11° L-type twin-cylinder engine that generates a maximum output of 114 PS with a chassis that combines a special steel trellis frame using tubes with different diameters depending on the section and a rear subframe that also uses a steel trellis frame. It adopts cutting-edge electronic control based on a Bosch 6-axis inertial platform, and can achieve optimal riding performance according to the riding conditions with three riding modes: Sports, Touring, and Urban. The meter uses a 4.3-inch TFT color LCD display, and the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) is optional. The Hypermotard 950 RVE is dressed in a new Graffiti EVO color that emphasizes its sporty character, and is equipped with the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up/Down EVO as standard. The Hypermotard 950 SP is equipped with an Ohlins 48mm fully adjustable fork with 185mm wheel travel, an Ohlins fully adjustable shock absorber with 175mm wheel travel, Marchesini 3-Y spoke type forged wheels, and a flatter seat design.

Ducati's first motocross motorcycle, the Desmo 450 MX

The DESMO450 MX, Ducati's first motocross motorcycle, is equipped with a 449.6cc single-cylinder engine with a desmodromic mechanism mounted on an aluminum perimeter frame, and the vehicle weight is 104.8kg. The newly designed Desmo 450 engine has a bore and stroke of 96 x 62.1 mm, and uses valve sizes of 40 mm for the intake and 33 mm for the exhaust. The maximum output is 46.7kW (63.5hp) at 9400rpm, and the maximum torque is 53.5N・m at 7500rpm, with 70% of the maximum torque generated at 4200rpm. The front and rear suspensions are made by Showa, with a fully adjustable 49mm inverted type front fork with 310mm travel, and a fully adjustable rear shock absorber with 301mm wheel travel. It is also equipped with electronic control systems such as traction control, launch control, and engine brake control.
