Ducati, an Italian manufacturer with a long history as a sports motorcycle manufacturer, has been expanding its presence in the MotoGP, winning consecutive world championships. Now that Ducati's 2025 models are complete, let's take a look at the lineup again. First of all, let's start with the super sports and street fighters.

The pinnacle of Super Sports, the Panigale V4/V4 S

Ducati's flagship model, the Panigale V4 series, is the model closest to the MotoGP machine that won the world championship. The latest evolved version of the Desmosedici Stradale, which exerts a maximum output of 216 PS, is mounted on a cutting-edge chassis that adopts an aluminum front frame derived from MotoGP and a newly designed hollow symmetrical swingarm. The brakes adopt the latest Brembo Hypure calipers, and the V4 S is equipped with Ohlins NPX-30 pressurized forks, Ohlins TTX36 rear shock, and Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) 3 based on Ohlins handlebar damper..It is equipped with a 0 system and lighter forged aluminum alloy wheels. The design has been completely redesigned to adopt the latest aerodynamic technology, and the distinctive front double profile wing, perfectly integrated into the front end, generates the same downforce as the previous model. The latest electronics are also given, and various electronic controls support riding through the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO).

The "Panigale V2" series, which is equipped with a traditional 90° 2-cylinder engine, is equipped with a "V2" engine that does not use a desmodromic mechanism and uses a normal valve spring system in the 2025 model. This "V2" engine has a displacement of 890cc, a maximum output of 88kW (120PS) / 10750rpm, and a maximum torque of 93.3Nm (9.5kgm) / 8250rpm, which does not reach the "Superquadro" equipped on the previous model, but the engine alone is 9.5kg lighter, and the entire vehicle is 21kg lighter, from 200kg to 179kg (V2 S is 177.6kg). The chassis adopts a monocoque structure that doubles as a frame and airbox, and the swingarm is directly attached to the engine, which is a stress member. Like the V4 series, the swingarm has been changed from the previous one-arm type to a double-arm type, and the strength and torsional rigidity are optimized with large holes. The V2 is equipped with a Marzocchi front fork and a KYB rear shock, while the V2 S is equipped with an Ohlins NIX-30 fork, a 43mm stem, and an Ohlins rear shock. It also comes equipped with a 5-inch full-color TFT display, four riding modes, and the second-generation Ducati Quick Shift (DQS).
