Yamaha Motor will release the 2025 model of the large naked "MT-10 ABS" and the high-end grade "MT-10 SP ABS". The specifications, equipment, and price are the same as before, only the color variations have been revised. The MT-10 will be released on Friday, May 30th, and the SP on Friday, May 16th.
All MT series models are now available in gray and light blue! Prices are unchanged, which is nice.
The large street fighter "MT-10 ABS", which has been on sale since 2017, is the largest displacement model of the MT series, which is available in a lineup of various displacements from 125cc. It is based on the 998cc water-cooled in-line 4-cylinder engine mounted on the YZF-R1, and has a power unit that is typical of the MT series, with output characteristics adjusted to feature powerful acceleration performance and controllability. The current model announced in 2022 has a significantly revamped front mask design, a new 6-axis IMU, and various controls such as "traction control system that reflects bank angle", "SCS (slide control system) that supports turning performance", and "LIF (lift control system) that assists the rider in riding when the front wheel tends to lift up" have further enhanced performance. In addition to the standard equipment, the high-end variation "MT-10 SP ABS" is available with special equipment such as Ohlins suspension and a special cowl, as well as special graphics.
The 2025 model announced this time has the same equipment and specifications, but the color variations have been changed. A new color, "Matte Light Gray," has been introduced, and this gray x light blue coloring is now available for all MT series from 125cc to 1000cc. Instead, the current dark gray color will be discontinued, and "Blue" and "Matte Dark Gray" will continue, making a lineup of three colors in total. The MT-10 SP will not be changed, and only the black x metallic silver "Silver" will continue.
The SP will be released slightly earlier, on Friday, May 16, 2025, and the standard on Friday, May 30. The prices will remain unchanged, with the MT-10 priced at $13101.66 and the MT-10 SP priced at $14898.45. Both are set as "Yamaha Motorcycle Exclusive Models" that will be handled only by YSP and advanced dealers, and a total of 100 units are planned to be sold per year.
New colors have been added to the MT-10 for the 2025 model year.
