Ducati XDiavel V4: Revolutionizing the Sports Cruiser Market

Ten years after the birth of the first XDiavel, the Ducati sports cruiser has undergone a full model change, evolving into an even more exciting model by equipping it with a V4 Gran Turismo engine with a counter-rotating crankshaft, an advanced electronics system and a number of sophisticated components. Production of this new Ducati sports cruiser, the XDiavel V4, has begun. It is scheduled to arrive in European dealerships in May 2025, in North America in June, and in other countries by the end of the year.

Production of the new Ducati sports cruiser XDiavel V4 has begun at the Ducati Factory in Borgo Panigale. The new model is equipped with a V4 engine that delivers excellent performance, and has a riding position unique to a cruiser, giving it the sensual beauty that is characteristic of Ducati. It redefines the concept of "muscular, refined, and high performance" introduced by the first-generation "XDiavel 1260," and has evolved even further.

V4 Gran Turismo Engine Boasts a Maximum Output of 168ps

The new XDiavel's V4 Granturismo engine, which uses unique solutions such as a counter-rotating crankshaft derived from MotoGP, combines linear response at low revs with powerful torque across the entire rev range, thanks to a maximum power output of 168hp and a maximum torque of 12.8kgm. Combined with the wide 240/45 rear tire and special gears, it delivers impressive propulsion, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just under 3 seconds.

With a vehicle weight of 229 kg, a monocoque frame, fully adjustable suspension, and sophisticated components such as a braking system with 330 mm diameter twin discs and Brembo Stylema calipers, it exhibits rare agility for a sports cruiser. It also comes equipped with Ducati Traction Control (DTC) with cornering function, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Cornering ABS, Launch Control, Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0, and all electronic control systems can be easily operated with the backlit control switch on the handlebar and the new 6.9-inch TFT color meter panel with an aspect ratio of 8:3.

The First Red Color for the XDiavel

The XDiavel V4 comes in two metallic colors, "Burning Red" and "Black Lava", both of which are named after flames. The first red color for the XDiavel is a different shade to the iconic Ducati Red or the vivid Racing Red. On the other hand, Black Lava is a classic gloss black traditionally used for cruiser models, with a warm tone that reflects the unique, sophisticated and sophisticated personality of the XDiavel V4.
