The Tokyo Motorcycle Show was held from March 28, 2025. ACTIVE exhibited a custom XSR900 model based on Yamaha's first four-stroke model, the XS650.
The motif is a cafe racer derived from the XS650! A customization that is easy for beginners to get into.

This is a touring cafe racer that Active has interpreted Yamaha's famous XS650!
The XSR900 is a three-cylinder naked motorcycle with a luxurious design and a Yamaha CP-3 engine. It is also popular as a base for customization, and various parts are sold by various companies. This show model is a custom version of this motorcycle by Active and SW-MOTECH.
The motif is a cafe racer derived from the XS650, Yamaha's first four-stroke motorcycle. The coloring of the side covers shines green reminiscent of the XS, and the YAMAHA emblem shining red on the tank is a clear homage. If the XS were to be revived in modern times, it would probably look like this show model.
The concept is "well-balanced customization that is easy to adjust for entry-level users with light tuning," and the specifications allow you to more concretely imagine the options for touring items.
The bike is also fitted with parts from 153GARAGE, Active's neo-classic motorcycle custom brand, including the "Top Bridge & Pipe Handlebar Kit" and "Rearset Kit," which create a classic yet luxurious image. The wheels are the "Type-N" aluminum forged wheels from GALE SPEED, which give off a nostalgic vibe.

You can also get a touring-like specification by installing SW-MOTECH's side carriers, bags, and tank rings. The exhaust system uses AKRAPOVIC's Racing Line, bringing the neo-retro cafe style to the forefront.
Furthermore, it is equipped with many practical parts that serve as accents, such as a performance damper, under-cowl, and engine slider. XSR900 users should definitely use the show model as a reference and enjoy customizing it.
