Suzuki's Carbon Neutral Strategy, not just BEVs
At the event, Suzuki unveiled the e-ACCESS battery electric vehicle, the No. 1 selling motorcycle in India..1, the all-new ACCESS, a fully redesigned model, and the bio-ethanol fuel-compatible GIXXER SF 250, a model with enhanced environmental performance. These three models will be manufactured at Suzuki Motorcycle India, Suzuki's motorcycle production and sales subsidiary in India, and the e-ACCESS will be marketed worldwide as the e-ADRESS.

Among the three new models, the most eye-catching is the new e-ACCESS, Suzuki's first global strategic battery electric vehicle (BEV) motorcycle. The battery is a reliable and secure 3.07kWh iron phosphate lithium-ion battery, and the fixed battery provides 17L of storage space under the seat. The battery can be charged from 0 to 100% in 6 hours 42 minutes using a portable charger, or in 2 hours 12 minutes using a quick charger.
The power unit has a maximum output of 4.1kW and a maximum torque of 15N・m, with a top speed of 71km/h and a range of 95km on a single charge. It has three driving modes: Eco, Drive A, and Drive B, as well as a reverse mode for added convenience and regenerative braking to recover energy during deceleration.
Features such as a side stand interlock system and rollover detection improve practicality and safety, and the keyless system allows the vehicle to be remotely locked/unlocked using a key fob. It also features a multi-function starter switch that can control the seat opener, steering lock, and charging inlet lid lock functions from one location.
The meter uses a color TFT LCD screen, and smartphone connection is possible via the "Suzuki Ride Connect-E" app, which provides navigation and real-time traffic information in addition to normal driving information.
The design is fresh and sophisticated, but aims to be a timeless styling design that will be loved for many years, and the LED position lights that extend vertically in the center of the front and stylish machined luminous wheels give it a unique appearance. Three colors are available: "Metallic Matte Black No.2/Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red," "Pearl Grace White/Metallic Matte Fibrond Gray," and "Pearl Jade Green/Metallic Matte Fibrond Gray." The e-ACCESS, Suzuki's first motorcycle battery EV global strategic model, uses an iron phosphate lithium-ion battery and can travel 95 km on a single charge.

The power unit of the new ACCESS is an air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, 124cc single-cylinder engine equipped with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology, which improves fuel efficiency while delivering maximum output of 6.2 kW at 6,500 rpm and maximum torque of 10.2 Nm at 5,000 rpm. rpm, and smooth performance even when riding in tandem or in traffic.
The design improves the appearance with renewed details such as LED position lights and LED tail lamps. The GIXXER SF 250 is a model designed exclusively for the Indian market, with specifications compatible with fuel blends of up to 85% bioethanol, contributing to carbon neutrality by reducing CO2 emissions. The oil-cooled 4-stroke SOHC single-cylinder 249cc engine delivers maximum output of 20.5 kW (27.9 PS)/9300 rpm on E85 fuel and 20 kW (27.2 PS)/9300 rpm on E20 fuel, with maximum torque of 22.5 N-m at 7300 rpm. This performance is made possible by Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) and Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technologies, which simultaneously deliver compactness, low fuel consumption, high durability, and ease of maintenance.
The new Suzuki Ride Connect application integrates Bluetooth-enabled digital instrumentation with the Suzuki Ride Connect application to provide a wealth of information at a glance. The color scheme is “Metallic Matte”.
