A nimble 155 kg single sport with a unique design

CF MOTO, from China, is an up-and-coming manufacturer that has been attracting attention overseas, and is also collaborating with Yamaha. In recent years, CF MOTO has been building up its track record by introducing its original V4 engine, developing supersport models, and participating in MotoGP (Moto2 and Moto3). In Japan, some of their models are currently being introduced and sold by Landscape Co.

The newly released 250SR-S is a middle-class full-cowl sports model. The engine is a 249cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, single-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 29. It delivers 2 PS. With a lightweight body weight of 155 kg, this model has a character that is easy to handle. It is also equipped with a slipper clutch as standard equipment, and two riding mode selections are available.

The Japanese introduction will start on February 1 and will be available to domestic users. Two colors are available.

The silhouette, however, is quite distinctive: KISKA Design of Austria, which designs for KTM and Husqvarna, partnered with CF MOTO to create the advanced styling. The lights are LED, and it also features minimalist winglets.

Equipment is as luxurious as a large-displacement model, with inverted forks, a cantilevered swingarm, and radial-mount front brake calipers. The instrument panel features a 5-inch full-color TFT LCD monitor for high visibility.

It comes in two color variations, Nebula Black and Nebula White, and is priced at $4,315.52. The first sales in Japan will be handled by moto shop Chronicle in Chiba Prefecture, which handles CF MOTO.
