A traditional British twin is souped up with Thruxton performance and the latest electronic controls!

The sportiest modern classic, the Speed Twin, has been Triumph's best-selling flagship model, selling 20,000 units since the current generation in 2019, until the recently released 400cc series was added. The 2025 model of the Speed Twin has been released.

The biggest difference from the past is the performance of the vertical twin. Everything from the intake to the exhaust has been revised, and while complying with the Euro 5 regulations, it has been slightly increased in rotation to 105 PS/7,750 rpm, and has been powered up to the same level as the previous Thruxton. Incidentally, the red zone has also been raised to 8,000 rpm.

The shape of the fuel tank has also been revised to improve the fit, and the seat shape has been revamped. The riding position is also 16.2 mm lower at the handlebar position than the standard Speed Twin, and the footpeg position has been moved back 40 mm, with the RS in mind (the standard model has also moved 17.8 mm higher and 13.4 mm forward in the 2025).

The performance equipment for riding has also been greatly revamped, and only the RS is now equipped with a quickshifter, which was not considered on the modern classic model.
The 270° phase of the vertical twin and the wider firing interval between the two cylinders give it a clear traction effect that grips the road surface, and you can expect the potential to maintain the thrill of accelerating out of corners while shifting up for a long distance.
The front forks have fully adjustable damping on the rebound and compression sides, and the rear suspension is also fully adjustable by Ohlins.
The brakes are also equipped with Brembo Styemas for super sports bikes.
The wheel design has been changed to one that focuses on weight reduction, and there are many specifications that will appeal to skilled riders, such as improved road tracking.
As a model to replace the Thruxton, which was synonymous with cafe racers, the Speed Twin RS has become the pinnacle of specifications.

The electronic controls have also been significantly updated, with the RS now having three riding modes: Road, Rain and Sport.
In addition to traction control, more precise responses have been incorporated, including cornering ABS, to give the rider more peace of mind.
