A minor change to Honda's mid-class adventure model, the NC750X, was announced in Europe on November 5, 2024. In addition to changes to the exterior design, a new 5-inch TFT color meter has been added. The body has also been changed to a double-disc suspension, with wheels and other parts changed accordingly.
In addition, environmentally friendly biomass plastic will be used for the khaki and black exterior cowlings. Let's take a closer look at these changes and compare them with the previous model.

Exterior design changes for a sharper look!

It adopts a dynamic and tough new identity with evolved upper and lower fairings with sharp creases and detail lines.

The fairing structure and the method of mounting it to the motorcycle have been redesigned to make it easier to remove and install the fairing, and maintenance has also been improved.

The new LED headlight gives the front of the motorcycle a strong character. The screen also provides excellent wind and cold protection, and the slim side panels, cover, and improved tail unit emphasize the "mass forward" stance.
Exterior design change... At first glance, the new NC750X is hard to distinguish from the existing 2024 model, but if you look at each part, you can see the changes more clearly. The most noticeable change is the headlight, which has a longer and shorter design, and the forehead area under the screen has become wider. In addition, the complex surface structure of the side design has been simplified to a sharp design, and the tail cowl unit has also been improved, emphasizing the "mass forward" stance.
In addition, the upper and lower fairings have been given sharp creases and fine lines, and the fairing structure and the way it is attached to the motorcycle have been revised to improve maintenance. A new seat upholstery with added stitching has been included, giving the motorcycle a more premium feel.
With this model change, the meter has evolved from an LCD to a 5-inch full-color TFT display. The use of optical bonding makes the menus and coloring easier to read in strong sunlight. It also gains the new ability to connect to a smartphone via Honda RoadSync, adding turn-by-turn navigation. The left switch box has been redesigned accordingly, with a new backlit switch and a new 4-way type select switch.

The left switch box now has a toggle switch, which makes it easy to use for turn-by-turn navigation, making phone calls, listening to music, and more.
Two sustainable colors made from environmentally friendly materials

One of the features of the 2025 model NC750X is that it uses DurabioTM (bio-based polycarbonate plastic) made from plant-derived materials in two colors, "Earth Ivy Ash Green" and "Earth Black". This technology was established in the screen of the 2023 model CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports, which was the first in the world for a motorcycle, but it will be used in more parts of the 2025 model NC750X, including fairing parts and windscreens.
Moreover, for the fairing parts, painting has been eliminated by coloring the Durabio resin itself. By not painting, CO2 emissions have been further reduced. This DurabioTM is characterized by its high transparency of the material itself and its more vivid color. In addition, recycled materials are used in some parts of the body.
Lightweight wheels with double discs

A scene from the new 2025 NC750X with dual disc brakes.
The 2025 NC750X retains the engine and frame of the 2024 model. However, the suspension has undergone major changes. The biggest change is the front brake, where the previous model had a single disc with a rotor diameter of 320 mm, but the new 2025 model has a dual disc brake with a rotor diameter of 296 mm. The rotor itself is also a floating disc.
To address the weight increase from the dual disc brakes, the front and rear wheels have been changed to a lightweight "3by3" design. The weight reduction of 1.8 kg offsets the weight increase from the dual disc brakes.
DCT-equipped vehicles have improved control at low speeds!

A riding scene of the new 2025 NC750X DCT.
As far as the engine is concerned, it seems to be basically the same as the existing 2024 model, and the maximum power and maximum torque are also the same as the 2024 model. The parameter settings for each driving mode also seem to be the same. However, the DCT specification vehicle has improved responsiveness at low speeds.
Compared to the conventional model, the 2025 model NC750XDCT specification vehicle has improved "smoother starting from a stopped state" and "control at low speeds of less than 10 km/h". In order to create a "quick and gentle" driving force with a small throttle opening, the operating parameters of the DCT have been upgraded. In detail, "Instead of relying on the hydraulic sensor upstream of the clutch piston, we have completely revised the method of applying the feedback gain by estimating the hydraulic pressure in the clutch piston chamber and improving the clutch response, making it possible to control more delicately." This allows active control of the electronically controlled throttle, and the DCT also includes a setting dedicated to extremely low speed riding.
Accessories now also include comfort seats and adjustable screens
New optional accessories that enhance the NC750X's performance as an adventure tourer are also new with this model change. A height-adjustable screen is now available, as well as a new comfort seat with additional urethane padding for a more comfortable ride.
Other accessory parts such as pannier cases, fog lights, and hand guards are available as before.
