The CB1300 Super Bol d’Or SP creates the Last Paradise on Earth

Motorcycle

The traditional. It is fitted with an in-line 4-cylinder engine mounted on a double cradle frame with a pipe structure, dazzling upright forks and twin rear shocks made by Ohlins, and a radially mounted opposed 4-piston Brembo caliper on the front brake. Just by looking at its configuration, the CB1300 SUPER BOL D'OR is worthy of the Golden Cup, as its name suggests. I wonder how long this motorcycle with such a luxurious package will continue to spin its history. It is so lovable that it makes me a little anxious. I rode the SP.

The last paradise on earth created by CB1300 Superbordor SP

PROJECT BIG-1 - the long history of the letters. The lineage of naked models equipped with large engine displacement in-line 4-cylinder engines, which began with the CB1000 SUPER FOUR in 1992, has been passed down to the CB1300 SUPER FOUR and CB1300 SUPER BOL D'OR even after more than 30 years. The big Nakeds, which were the stars of the time, have lost one by one competitor due to increasingly strict environmental regulations, but Honda's CB1300 series continues to fight alone.

Its appeal can be summed up in one word: its profound presence. Zephyr, ZRX, XJR, GSX, Bandit... In the absence of comparable rivals, a new wave of agility and lightness based on racer replica units such as the Z900RS and KATANA has been gaining popularity for a long time. Will the existing (past?) existence washed by the waves of the times just fade away?

It's been a year since I last rode the CB1300 SUPER BOL D'OR SP, or maybe it's been a little longer. To be honest, there were times when the motorcycle behaved a little differently than I expected, perhaps due to individual differences with the model I rode before. To be more specific, there was some jerking at the very start of the throttle opening, and it felt a little tough when making tight left turns or U-turns.
