Maco Racing Team completed its 21st season competing in the FIM Endurance World Championship by finishing among the top 10 outfits in the final points table, its goal ahead of the 2023 campaign.
The Yamaha-powered Slovak squad finished the season-concluding Bol d’Or at Circuit Paul Ricard earlier this month (14-17 September) in eighth overall and sixth among the Formula EWC contenders, a performance that earned it eighth in the FIM Endurance World Championship for Teams and sixth in the EWC Independent Trophy.
Afterwards Maco Racing Team owner, Martin Kuzma, said: Thanks to the huge determination of the team we managed to reach the finish. The mechanics did fantastic work and we were also one of the fastest teams. The riders produced consistent times without falls and complications. My big thanks go to the whole team, our fans, partners and sponsors and Yamaha for the support. We look forward to next season.
Maco Racing Team’s Bol d’Or line-up featured Frenchman Enzo Boulom, Hungarian Bálint Kovács and Martin Vugrinec from Croatia. Vugrinec was making his Bol d’Or debut at the end of his first season of EWC competition after joining Maco for June’s 24H SPA EWC Motos.
