Awaji Island-based PMC exhibited two Z900RS Customs from the ARCHI brand at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show. The most notable model was the "Blue Satellite" model, which was loaded with jet-black chrome parts and shined spectacularly.
Unlike anodized aluminum, plating is resistant to color jumps and corrosion.
The Z900RS Blue Satellite, produced by PMC, is a matte blue coloring with gold and copper foil lines affixed to it, emphasizing Japanese taste. A new coloring technique was pursued to add texture to the numerous billet aluminum parts attached to the body.
This is the Jet-Black plating introduced on the Z900RS Blue Satellite, which gives the aluminum parts a deep, lacquer-like luster. Jet-Black Plating has superior corrosion resistance compared to ordinary anodized aluminum, and the high hardness of the film maintains its luster for a long period of time, so much so that it can be said to last a lifetime.
However, the jet-black plating of the Blue Satellite is basically a prototype, and currently, only the grab bars are available for (approx.) 247 USD. The supply of Jet-Black plating is not keeping pace with the limited production volume due to its high technical difficulty, but we expect the lineup to expand in the future.

Z900RS BLUE SATELLITE [ARCHI] The large-diameter slash-cut megaphone muffler is an eye-catching custom with craft-like shiny aluminum billet parts.

Jet black plating is applied to the billet honeycomb subframe kit (approx. 479 USD) and the Alfin clutch cover guard (approx. 173 USD). Each has a different luster and taste.

The honeycomb rearset kit (approx. 595 USD) and swing arm pivot (approx. 74 USD) also have jet-black plating. Prices are without plating, and the jet-black plated version is for reference only.

The jet-black plated grab bar on the far right (248 USD) is the one on the market. You can see the difference in coloration from the chrome plating under normal lighting.

This is how it looks under sunlight. Jet-black plating is an unprecedented shade and may become popular. We look forward to expanding the lineup in the future so that the same color can be used when installing parts.
Z900RS steering damper to handlebar mount
Another notable new part of PMC's Z900RS Custom is the YSS Steering Damper Kit (reference exhibit). This kit installs the steering damper, which was previously mounted under the stem, in the handlebar area, and was proposed as a direction to enhance the custom look.

Z900RS RED JEWEL [ARCHI] Z900RS RED JEWEL was exhibited in addition to Blue Satellite. This is equipped with billet honeycomb parts and an Alfin cover.

The YSS steering damper kit is compatible with the stock top bridge and handles clamps. The advantage is that it not only makes adjustment easier but also enhances the custom look.

The exhaust system is a 427 short tube muffler (6 pieces) with plating. This appearance is JMCA certified for vehicle inspections. The price is (approx.) 1405 USD and will be released on May 12.
