ninnin's profile
About the vehicle
KAWASAKI GPZ900R A12 (1999 domestic specifications)
Bought used in 2009, 11 years old in 2020, almost 50,000km!
The usual touring style
Day touring and camping touring mainly.
Annual mileage: about 2,000 to 3,000 km and I'm still raising my child, so I haven't been able to drive the distance.
What I enjoy about touring.
It's fun to flush the passes down the road and take a hot tub. Long tours with a load of camping gear are great. (I'd love to go back to Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku again!
I prefer the campground right near the hot springs. It's a great place to eat, drink beer, and soak in the hot springs.
Favorite Spot
Biei, Furano, Kushiro Marsh, and Aso: Great scenery!
Nyuto Onsen and Kurokawa Onsen: You will want to take a bath in various hot springs.
Oshika Peninsula: the winding is nice.
Too many things to write about (>)
What are your favorite items?
Manufacturer Name:Sanwa
Product name: TEP2-100 Car Inverter 60W
Webike listing of similar products because they are discontinued:.DC-AC inverter for automotive use
Useful uses and favorite points
Usual use
I take the power out of the bike and put a cigarette lighter on the tank bag.
Used to charge a variety of things on long touring trips while camping there with an AC inverter.
Useful tips and tricks
It is useful for charging intercoms, digital cameras, electric shavers, eneloop for lanterns and headlights, etc.
Recommendations.
If you're staying at a hotel or inn, you can charge it at the outlet there, but that's not possible when you're camping.
I recommend it, especially if you're on a long touring trip, like 2 or 3 nights or a week, you'll need to charge a lot of things.
summary
[Benefit]
You can charge many things, such as intercoms when touring in a camping trip rather than in a hotel, using a household power (AC power) outlet.
[Disadvantage]
You need to manage your bike's battery to prevent it from running out of power, just in case.
Impressions
When touring in camp, you can take the power out of the bike and use a regular outlet.
You can even bring your laptop to work or update your social networking site.
