YOSHIMURA JAPAN has released rearsets "X-TREAD" for YZF-R25 / R3 and NINJA 250 / 400.
The rearsets “X-TREAD” expands the possibilities of lightweight middle sports and supports riding in a variety of scenes from touring to sports riding. Not only the effectiveness of the high-precision aluminum machined parts with built-in bearings on moving part, high-grip footpegs, and the like are for position optimization, but also for the rider's movements such as shift / brake operation feeling and control of weighting / unweighting at cornering are directly communicated to the machine.

X-TREAD
Features
The distinct heel plate is designed to endure strong holds and avoid catching riding boots.
It has adjustable footpeg in 4 positions that supports various body shapes and riding styles.
The fixed footpegs that are made of a more complicated machining than the common knurling deliver rider's movements such as weighting and unweighting directly to the motorcycle, and the pedal tip is made of a rubber that enables a reliable pedal operation without slippage.
The shift pedal bar is selectable from 3 positions and the brake pedal bar is from 2 positions.
It has been used 2 bearings in pedal axle that gives smooth shifts and brake sense. The adjustable shift pedal is selectable from 5 positions. ABS and brake switch are applicable.
Design
・The design of the heel plate, processed 3 sided, is considered from the shape of YOSHIMURA GSX-R1000 racer which has been proofed its performance.
・This product is subjected the same processing with racing parts to reduce extra weight.
・Design, material and durability of the heel plate passed YOSHIMURA basis.
・The YOSHIMURA X-TREAD logo is laser engraved on the heel plate.
・The special anodizing color "Slate Gray" is adopted and exude its presence.
・Serial number is laser engraved as a proof of high performance and high quality, this same serial number does not exist as 2 in this world.
Material / Quality
The main material of X-TREAD is aluminum that is known for as durable as to be used for air and space craft equipment. The tensility of the aluminum used for footpegs is lowered so that it will bend in the case of a crash which lowers the damage to rearset plates and the frame.
