Product Information

A unique style inspired by the origin of Vespa

The style of Vespa Sei Giorni is clearly reminiscent of the primary Vespa. The headlight placed on the front mudguard and the exposed steel pipe handlebar has been represented the simple style of Vespa Sei Giorni.

In addition, a stylish analog white meter has been ado

The front part of the body is equipped with an elegant smoke top fairing that wraps around the instrument. The matte black 3 horn slits on the steering column cover, which is changed to a vertical long shape, gives an impression of compact styling. Like the new GTS series, the honeycomb grill on both sides of the leg shield releases heat from the radiator.

To resemble the racing vespa made by the legendary Squadra Corse in the 50s, sporty image has been given to this new Vespa. A blacked out silencer and wheels including graphics with a number seal is symbolizing the sportiness. The crimson line on the rim is also eye-catching.

The Sei Giorni Grey, which is adopted for Vespa Sei Giorni Edition II as the exclusive new color, highlights the details. The sporty spirit of Vespa Sei Giorni is also reflected in a single seat style (actually 2-seater available), an exclusive sports seat with white piping and stitching. The plate of “Vespa Sei Giorni II Edition” in the leg shield highlights the uniqueness of this special model.

Vespa Sei Giorni: The Origin of the Legend

In 1951, Piaggio Squadra Corse surprised the racing world by defeating a pure off-road machine in the toughest and most prestigious races. After the world war II, the average rally was in its golden age. It was a tough challenge because of a very tough route with several hundred kilometers. It was a hard challenging stage for both rider and machine.

The most prestigious race was the 26th Sei Giorni Internazionale held in Varese, Italy. The 10 units of Vespa were so skeptical at the start, saying, "What are they trying to accomplish against a machine designed for racing?" However, those model were a special made for racing from the sports version. Vespa dominated the race by winning at least 9 gold medals.

Vespa showed an overwhelming advantage in harsh dirt road routes and pure speed trials at the Monza circuit. As the only Italian team to win the trial, Vespa brought the constructors' gold medal to Piaggio.

The Vespa "Sei Giorni", named after the victory, was very similar in appearance to the standard model. The main difference was the oversize fuel tank, streamlined shield and extra-large righthand side bag to cover the carburetor on the cylinder. The Sei Giorni is one of the most legendary model in Vespa history. The Sei Giorni was destined to participate in the average rally, and only 300 units were manufactured worldwide. Currently, it has been one of the most valuable Vespa that motorcycle enthusiasts are looking for.
