KTM unveiled a number of new models at the Milan Show (EICMA) 2024. The existing models have also undergone major style changes, and the lineup for 2025 is ready. Among them was the new 390cc adventure model "390 ADVENTURE R"!
DUKE's unique face and large projector give a new impression! 390 Adventure R
Currently, there is only one KTM 390cc adventure motocycle in Japan, the 390 Adventure SW, but the new top-of-the-class model is the 390 Adventure R. The detailed specifications have not been announced, but the engine is based on the 373cc water-cooled single-cylinder engine used in the 390 DUKE, just like the previous 390 Adventure. Although specifications such as the chassis and wheel size are unknown, the obvious change is the look.
A large screen reminiscent of a rally tower has been newly adopted, completely renewing the impression around the cockpit. The front mask is equipped with a U-shaped, irregular type headlight following the latest DUKE series. However, it also uses a projector lens that is larger than the DUKE series, improving the illumination. The shape of the fuel tank and side covers has also been changed to an integrated type, which will undoubtedly change the aerodynamic performance. It also seems that knuckle guards and engine guards will also be standard equipment. The wheel size has also been changed, with the previous 19-inch front wheels now being 21-inch.
In terms of functionality, it is now equipped with a full-color TFT monitor with built-in Bluetooth connection and navigation function. The inclusion of cruise control has also improved touring performance. We expect that the performance level will be improved while maintaining the character of the conventional 390 Adventure.

Although the main specifications are unknown, the exterior will have a rally machine style. It will be completely different from the conventional 390 Adventure SW.
