MOTO-GP DNA: SUZUKI GSX-R1000R Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "SUZUKI GSX-R1000R" custom by Webike community user "Golconda". The exhaust is equipped with an AKRAPOVIC Slip-on Exhaust System GP Type Silencer. Compared to the stock exhaust, the GP Type Silencer is much lighter. The shorter length of the exhaust makes the bike look more compact. The honeycomb shape of the silencer outlet is very cool. Also, since it is made of titanium, you can enjoy the heat color that changes as it heats up. The volume is not much different from the stock exhaust, but the sound quality is more bass-like. For the controls on hand, a BREMBO 19RCS Corsa Corta Brake Master Cylinder is selected. The brake response can be set in three different ways and is characterized by a soft touch and a subtle feel and control that only works as much as the amount of grip. If you prefer a quicker touch, set the brake to race mode. It feels as if you are holding the rotor between your hands, which gives you a sense of security when banking into a corner. MRA's Racing Windshield is used in MOTO-GP and WSB. Its aerodynamic characteristics are effective for everyday street riding and touring. The shape of the windshield, with its raised center portion, covers the helmet when leaning forward and sends air coming from the front overhead, thereby minimizing the aerodynamic drag of the bike itself. The slider mounted on the engine mount in front of the cylinder is an AGRAS Racing Slider. It can be installed with the base plate without any additional modification to the cowl. It protects the cowl, mirrors, handlebars, etc. in the event of a fall. The ACTIVE Fender Eliminator Kit also requires no modifications to the bike body during installation and is compatible with the installation of stock turn signals. With the large stock fenders removed, the entire body of the bike looks much tighter.
