Because it is an OEM, it fits exactly, but COSPA is a problem.
Now it is becoming common to equip Motorcycle with electronic equipment such as Navigation and Smartphone. When going out for Touring, after all it is not enough to charge the Tan. Africa Twin's Instrument panel contains Cigar type OEMAccessory socket (Power supply) There is a place where you can attach. I tried to ask with an Option at the time of contract, but the labor cost was high, so I order only the parts and did it with DIY. After all it is OEM and it can be installed cleanly without gaps.
Since Instruction Manual is not attached, I downloaded from a dedicated site. According to it, Quantity : Pair (for Left and Right) It seems that it seems useless unless you remove the Middle cowl and Front cover of the machine, so I worked carefully so as not to hurt. You can do the tool with Hexagonal Wrench and Nipper!
I tested the power supply and it was making surely electricity. The Instrument panel blindfold Grommet has transformed into a clean Accessory socket.
Honestly it may not be enough with only one power supply. Moreover, since it is 2A, the one with the Large capacity is Out. If you need it, you can take out the power supply, but it takes time and effort to attach / detach Cowl so it may be better to do it at once if necessary.
Although it can be convinced if it is a little cheaper, if it is outside the company, it will not fit exactly and it can not be helped because it is an OEM.
