Genuine Yamaha Rear Left Foot Peg for MT09 2018

This item was purchased as a replacemnt for my Yamaha FZ1N. This is the right hand side hanger (Bracket 5).The standard Yamaha FZ1N passenger hanger on the right hand side had gotten a little damaged over the years and I just wanted to change it out for another one. Easy to find, using part search, packaging was very good, all items were nice and snug inside the box. No chance of any damage during transit. The finish on Yamaha part are perfect, the silver paint work is fanatsic. Very tactile, smooth finish as you would expect. This bike had a few issues after a small collision. This resulted in a few parts that had to be changed. One of these parts was the left side riders footrest hanger which was very badly damaged. I needed to find the right part number so I used Yamaha schematics and this gave me the information I needed. Luckily, this bracket also fits the MT09 so was readily available. The price from Webike was far better than could be found locally. Including the shipping which was EMS, it still came in a lot cheaper. My order was shipped within 2 days and arrived with me in just a week. The bracket was well packaged by Webike warehouse so there was no damage. The bracket itself is a moulded one and the quality is flawless. There are no visible errors and the edged are all smooth and free from sharp spots. The finish is a lovely satin silver which goes very well with the overall look of the bike. No problem in fitting as the old bracket has already been removed. This was the second of the 2 parts I needed to get this bike sorted. I already purchased the actual footrest and this rubber footrest cover was also needed as the previous one was a little torn up. Finding the right one was easy as I already had the Yamaha schematics open for the footrest on the bike. The price was also good value and better than my local Yamaha dealer could match. I had the OEM footrest and some other parts in this order and all were shipped using EMS as my chosen courier. In 5 days from being shipped, my order was delivered to my door. The outer box was all sealed and nothing could be lost or damaged in transit. The contents were all bubble wrapped by Webike warehouse which is a nice little touch to keep parts safe. The rubber came in the standard Yamaha packet. It is a good piece of Yamaha manufacturing, it is a moulded rubber cover and the grip on the rubber is excellent. No point having a footrest cover that makes you slip. Not an issue with this one. Fitting was super simple as I use brake and clutch cleaner to gently lubricate the footrest stem and push to fit. This classic bike came in for a few small parts that needed changing due to age related issues. The owner wanted to keep the bike as genuine as possible. One of the parts that was a little bit old and not good looking was the rear flasher stay. The old one had lost all of the black glossy paint which it originally came with. Finding the right part number for this was easier than I expected it to be. With the help of Yamaha schematics I found what I was looking for. On checking Webike website, the part was actually available and in stock in the warehouse. Great news. The price was as expected and very reasonable. Shipping was low cost using EMS and the order arrived in 7 days. The stay unit came in a see through Yamaha packet and was also inside a bubble wrap envelope. No damage to any of it. The stay itself is a stunning part, the glossy black is super shiny and both the mount holes are perfect. Quality wise, I could not ask for anything better. I wanted to make this little bike more presentable and a lot of the consumable parts were looking old and in need of some tlc. One of the parts that was bothering me was the kick lever cover which was worn through and hanging off. Time for a new one. Not a hard part to find as this cover does fit a lot of Yamaha models from early 70's all the way through to the newer small kids bikes. Once I found the right part number, I checked Webike website and found a really good deal for it. With some other parts for this bike already in my basket, I got them all shipped together to save money on the shipping fees. In a matter of 7 days the order arrived. The cover lever was packaged really well, it came in the standard Yamaha packaging and inside a bubble wrap envelope too. The cover itself is a moulded rubber one that is well made. The moulding is accurate and there were no extra pieces of rubber hanging off which just shows the top quality of the genuine Yamaha part. Fitting is easy as it is literally a push on fit, a tiny bit of brake cleaner helped this to be put in situ easier. I had been looking to spruce up this Monkey when it came in with a genuine Honda Monkey emblem on the left panel of the bike. Yes, I could get them printed at a local store but why do that when you can get hold of the genuine Honda ones as cheap as this. Not a hard part to find once you know the size you need and a rough model of bike that this is for. This was the side panel emblem which did not need to be the exact same as the other side as I was also buying the right hand side anyway. Along with the right hand side decal and some other parts, all shipped together by EMS and delivered in 7 days. Everything in the package was packed neatly and securely and these were kept flat as you don't want bent emblems. They look super slick and crisp edges makes the world of difference. This genuine Honda Monkey emblem is a gorgeous black outer edge with accents of red to go with the bike's colour scheme, the inner is crisp white. It is a flat but slightly gel looking decal/emblem and all the colours are super clean too perfect. I have had some in the past for other bikes that look slightly grey on the black part but not these, perfect match for the bike colour scheme. Now this is on, the bike looks like a proper machine. This was a part that needed changing on the FZ1 bike that came in for a service. The air filter was pretty bad and very dirty which was only having a negative effect on the bike's running. The correct air filter was easy to find using the tools and help section on Webike pages. I also cross referenced with Yamaha schematics for my own peace of mind. The air filter was really good value and slightly cheaper than I could source locally at my nearest Yamaha parts dealer. I chose EMS for my courier as they just get my orders delivered fast. 5 days from shipping my order arrived. Everything in the order was extra well packed with bubble wrap for security. The air filter is not a massive one especially for such a bike but you do need it to fit as it should. The old one had gotten a little funny shaped and was not sitting right. This new one however, fits perfectly. The air filter came in the usual Yamaha packaging. Fitting is easy, the filter is not doing what it is supposed to do and the bike does sound better for it.
