A customer came in with a dilemma as they could not see much using the OEM MT10 mirrors. I suggested a set of mirror extensions which do work pretty well for a larger person. We looked at a few manufacturers and decided on the Evotech ones. The price of these for the MT10 were very reasonable and better than some of the other brands we looked at anyway. Finding the right part number for the mirror extensions was not hard at all as these also fit a few of the other Yamaha range. With a few other parts for this bike, I had them all shipped using EMS and they arrived in one piece and no damage at all in 7 days. The mirror extensions came in the Evotech packaging and were well protected against damage. They are really well machined and you can see and feel the quality straight away. The extensions themselves are aluminium and the bolts they supply are stainless steel which have a nice satin finish on them. The paint on the mirror extensions is a lovely deep satin black which goes very well with the colouring of the MT10. Fitting is pretty straight forward and just bolt on but be aware, you do have a left handed thread pattern and a right handed thread patter as per the OEM ones. With everything finished, I did jump on the bike and you really can see a lot more in the mirrors. Not just a gimmick. Customer is very pleased and this is a lot safer too now. Thanks Webike.
