In the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans, despite being a privateer, the Kramer Racing tuned Porsche 935K3 crossed the class line to win the overall victory while the Works Porsche 936 retired.
In addition to Le Mans, his success in the DRM / German Racing Championship and the World Sports Vehicle Championship made his name known throughout the world.
Today, the company continues to race and has been the leading brand in Porsche tuning for over 50 years.

The German words embroidered on the left side of the cap translate to "Two wins and four second places by Bob Wollek".
