The rebuild includes replacing the armature, brushes, and output gears, rewinding the coils, and painting the body to prevent rust.
The finished product is subjected to a series of rigorous qualification tests, and only those products that pass these tests are shipped with the title of STC Rebuilt Starter Motor.
