I would like to introduce you to the custom motorcycles that were submitted to the Webike Community "MOTO HACK Custom Motorcycle Contest" campaign!

In this article, I'd like to introduce you the custom motorcycle of Aru, who rides the NS50F!

Motorcycle and self introduction

I started riding motorcycles when I was in high school, and decades have passed since then.

One day, I was wandering around Yahoo to buy a tube for my motorcycle, when I came across my current motorcycle, which sticks out like a sore thumb! It was a moped motorcycle that was stolen when I was in high school (yikes, that gives away my age) and we had a very strange parting of ways.

I've been away from motorcycles until recently because I was addicted to biking, but I found myself snapping away.

Customization of the particulars

[Directionality]
I aimed to make a super lightweight, slender cafe racer.

Custom Points

  • The engine was bored up above the waist, and the 68.8cc.
  • I used a YAMAHA RD tank for the tank. (But, despite the appearance, it was very difficult to hollow out the inside and build the tunnel.)
  • The oil tank also makes the best use of genuine oil as it is, and it is super easy to refuel.
  • The coolant tank is the shiny triangular one in the picture. I had it made as a one-off. I heard that it was very hard work. I like it very much.
  • As for the seat, I cut and pasted the frame to fit the seat because the seat for Monkey had the atmosphere.
  • I change the air cleaner to the funnel specification and the power flow specification according to the season and the good mood. I change it according to the season and a good mood.
  • I tried to change the chamber, but now it is back in stock. Because of the low displacement, it was hard to go forward at the start, so I did trial and error to overcome the weak point, but in the end, I settled on this shape because the feeling of the original stock was good.

In the appearance, it has changed this and that, but finally, it became the 2-stroke cafe racer as I wanted. It's quite rare, isn't it?

I didn't name the motorcycle, it's the NS50F.

Customization that I want to do in the future

Honestly, I've come to a point. This is it, it's finished. I will continue to maintain this specification. Since it is an antique that is almost 30 years old, the repair parts are gradually disappearing, so I will take good care of it.

Thank you, Al, for participating in our custom motorcycle contest! You will receive 500 points that you can use at Webike!
