Dual-purpose in the 1990s was packed with racing achievements.
This is the XR250, HONDA's famous off-road motorcycle. Originally, there was a competition model called the XR250R, and the public road version is the XR250. The "BAJA," which was released at the same time, is also famous for its round-eyed, two-eyed headlight.
When you're around people who like off-road motorcycles, there's always at least one person who says, I want an XR! But the XR series is a motorcycle from the 1990s. Why is the XR series still so popular today?
First of all, HONDA is a trusted brand. It's a HONDA, after all, with a lot of experience in off-road racing. The XR series is the public road version of HONDA's all-out XR series, which has experienced extremely tough rallies for a long time, and it was popular from the time it was launched.
From the 1990s, it was further matured through a series of minor changes and was on the market until around 2007. Its instantaneous power is outstanding and powerful! And yet, the frame is supple and easy to ride.
The XR250 weighs about 15kg less than the current HONDA 250cc off-road motorcycle, the CRF250L, but has more power, torque, and tank capacity. The XR250 is a full-fledged off-road motorcycle that is just like a racer, and I can understand why it still has fans.
By the way, one of my seniors at my old workplace used to compete in a desert race called the Baja 1000 on an XR400R. It was so cool!
As expected, the number of such XR250s is decreasing nowadays. Y's motorcycle's XR250 is now even lighter and more powerful with the nostalgic PRO SKILL silencer! Now would be a good time to inquire!
