brief self-introduction
Motorcycle history and how I usually enjoy my bike.
Motorcycle history:
29 years
How I usually enjoy my bike:
I drive 700-800km a month for commuting. When I want to change my mind, I use it for half day touring.
How long have you been riding this bike?
Three years and three months, 29,000km.
Purchase motive and purpose
After I got married, I didn't have enough money to spare for a while and my children were small, so it was hard to find time for myself. I lived exclusively on a scooter (address V100~lead 110). One day when the kids were getting too much for me, I thought I'd take a look at a motorcycle, and at a store I went to, I found a bright The blue and nostalgic D's were a sight to behold! It was the last model on the emissions list, so I made a quick decision!
I will keep it in as original a condition as possible and ride it for a long time.
Satisfactory/advantages
For the purpose
My commute to work is now a little farther away, so I'm less likely to get tired even after 20-30km, and as a result, it was a good decision to replace the scooter.
For running
First of all, the body is light and the position is easy, and the engine is powerful from low speed, so it is not only for commuting but also sometimes It is possible to run happily even on the mountain road which takes a roundabout way and returns. I think that it is faster than the ZZR1100 which I rode before in the downhill corner. The car is light, so the brakes work very well, and because the car is single cylinder, it responds to the throttle. Because the car is light, the brakes work very well, and because it is a single cylinder, the response to the throttle is excellent. It starts up quickly and comfortably. Fuel economy is good at 32-34km with a full tank method.
For appearance
The best one is the D mark on the shroud. I know it's a matter of taste, but I used to love the early D-Tracker color scheme.
Disadvantages/weaknesses
For the purpose
The lack of loading capability, of course. I have to carry my rain gear in my backpack every day. So why don't you just put a rear box on it? You may be thinking, "I don't have a rear box as an option for me. Then I feel like I would be better off riding a scooter.
For running
It's a fighting 4-stroke engine, so it can go up to high RPMs, but after 80 km/h, it gets tougher and tougher. It is. I think my old Goose 250 was a lot easier, but maybe it's the difference in position Nope. There is vibration and wind pressure, and I don't think it's suitable for high speed driving. The seat makes my butt hurt after an hour of riding. I got a scrap of wetsuit, so I processed it by myself and put it on the seat. I think it has improved a little. The headlight is 2 eyes, so I don't panic. There was a time when it did not last six months.
For appearance
No complaints at all.
Summary (Recommended for people like this, etc.)
I'm short (165cm) so I was worried about how to handle it, but when I tried to ride it, I found out that it's not as easy as it looks. The position is easy to ride and the lightness of the body means that you don't have to worry about it if you have one foot on the ground. If you don't feel comfortable with your feet, why don't you try to ride it?
Until you get used to it, you may feel uncomfortable in mountain passes and wonder how to ride it. I was running with the thought that. The normal lean-with is good, but you can get some pretty big action with the lean-out and this It's a fun and unique genre of bike. Even if you ride it leisurely, the beat is comfortable, and even if you fly it a little, it is a pleasant and fun bike to play.
