Markus Reiterberger’s hopes of finishing the 45th Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race have received a boost following testing for Japan’s round of the FIM Endurance World Championship later this month.
Reiterberger was in action for the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team during last month’s pre-test at the iconic Suzuka Circuit.
Afterwards, two-time EWC race winner from Germany said: "We had two intensive days of testing in Suzuka with a lot of riding time. We worked on the suspension and the tyres. We were very well supported by Dunlop Japan. We want to improve on last year’s top-six result at the race. The test undoubtedly helped us to reach our goal.”
BMW Motorrad World Endurance finished sixth in last season’s Suzuka 8 Hours. In addition to Reiterberger, it’s 2024 line-up features Sylvain Guintoli and Illya Mykhalchyk.
