The YSS suspension is developed with an emphasis on "creating a suspension that can win on the race scene and feeding it back to the street".

At the Taste of Tsukuba, one of the largest grass races in Japan, the number of vehicles that use YSS is increasing every year, and they have actually won and placed in the race.

The performance is unmistakable, and what's more exciting is that even with the higher-performing models, it's still very cost-effective! Furthermore, it can be overhauled, so if you don't neglect the maintenance, you can maintain its performance for a long time.

YSS participates in a wide variety of races around the world and feeds back experience and know-how from various fields into our product manufacturing. It's also nice to see that we have a wide range of motorcycles from newer to older models.

The three main categories are SPORTS LINE (twin shocks), MONO LINE (monoshock), and BLACK/RED SERIES.

And within each category, there is a lineup of different environmental assumptions.  (The BLACK/RED SERIES is TG-C and the TG, for scooters.)

SPORTS LINE (Twin Shocks)

SII-series

The SII series is a high-end model that performs well on a track with a high-speed range.

The compression side has a two-speed compression system that can be adjusted in two stages: high speed and low speed. The large-capacity reservoir tank not only simply increases the oil capacity, but also prevents cavitation and has a high heat dissipation effect.

S-series

The top-end model with racing specs for high performance and functionality.
There are two systems of damping force on the pressure side, allowing for fine settings of 30-stage of high speed and 30-stage of low speed. Also, the extension of the damping range is 60-stage, which is also very impressive at the top end of the range.

G-series

This is a full-spec model with a casting body and reserve tank and various adjustment functions. Attenuation is provided in one system on the pressure side and one on the extension side, with spring preload and ride height adjustment functions.

Compared to the S and X series, this model has been designed with street performers in mind, so it can be used not only for circuit driving, but also for sports driving such as winding roads.

X-series

The separate top-end model with a mesh hose connecting the body to the reserve tank. Like the aforementioned SII series, it is equipped with 2-speed compression. Two systems of damping force adjustment, one on the compression side and one on the extension side, are provided.

Also, by reducing the diameter of the spindle rod, oil capacity has been increased and friction loss has been reduced.

Two-speed compression with 20 levels of adjustable compression for each of the two damping speeds. You can also choose from 60 levels of elongation.

Z-series

This all-round model has a simple appearance with a rebound, spring preload, and ride height adjustment functions for stable performance.

Like the Z series, this model has a simple appearance and a preload adjustment function. It is the most cost-effective model in the lineup.
This is a basic model for street riders.

Simple look and feel with the added ability to adjust spring preload.

MONO LINE (Monoshock)

MR-series

The MR series was designed and developed with racing use in mind. In addition to a large-capacity reserve tank with high heat dissipation and cavitation suppression, the built-in thermoneedle reduces the change in damping force due to temperature rise.

There are two high and low-speed pressure damping systems and one rebound damping system, with hydraulic spring preload and ride height adjustment functions.

MR-series (For OFF ROAD)

This is the full-spec model in the YSS lineup for off-road applications. The MR366 has a smaller piston diameter and is more suitable for compact vehicles. If you want to race in motocross or enduro, then the MR series is the one for you.

MG-series/MS-series

This one is also for the top end. The MG-series is available as an integrated reservoir tank type and the MS-series is available as a separate tank type.

Street, sports driving, and track use. Each series has been developed and designed for a wide range of driving situations, and each series is available with three different piston diameters and spindle rods.

Compared to the MG/MS series, the pressure side of the damping force has been reduced from 2 to 1. That said, the price is very reasonable.

However, since the situation includes sports driving as well, the motorcycle is stable enough to ride on the track.

This model is reasonably priced and has all the features you need for a light ride.

The damping force can be set in 30 increments and has a +10mm height adjustment function. The all-round model has a simple look and is equipped with all the adjustment features needed for light riding.

It is recommended for riders who are mainly used for touring and city riding.

The Twin Shocks are available in a choice of the body (2 colors) and spring colors (6 colors).

The body color line-up is available in silver and black, both of which have an anodized surface finish for an upscale look. And there are six spring colors: black, red, yellow, white, chrome, and matte black. All colors are powder coated for excellent corrosion resistance and surface hardness. ht_d21.jpg
