Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has released the CYGNUS-X Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition, an air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, 124cm3 engine moped scooter in the livery of the YZR-M1 racing machine that competes in MotoGP, the world's top motorcycle race. The CYGNUS-X Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition is available in a limited edition of 800 units and was released on October 20.
The "Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition" is based on the standard model and features 1) a racy exterior color scheme of Yamaha racing blue and black to symbolize the race, 2) Monster Energy Yamaha graphics reminiscent of the YZR-M1, and 3) a gold-colored tuning fork emblem.
In addition to its sporty and advanced styling with its fearless front face and light-guiding LED taillights, the CYGNUS-X delivers powerful power output characteristics in the practical range of city riding and combines excellent riding performance with convenience. This model will be manufactured by Yamaha Motor Taiwan, a Yamaha group company.
