Release of the Long Awaited CBR250RR!
P.T. Astra Honda Motor Indonesia has annuonced the new 250cc sports model CBR250RR.
The concept model was exhibited at the 2015 44th Tokyo Motor Show that was held last year and this will be the release of a model many motorcycle fans have been longing for.
The new CBR250RR will be manufactured in major selling country, Indonesia. It will be a HONDA model with largest engine capacity manufactured in the country.
Powerfull Liquid-cooling Engine Equipped with Three Engine Modes
The engine is equipped with liquid-cooling power unit and DOHC4 Valve 2 Cylinder engine as had been rumoured. Engine Output has not yet been announced however engine compression ratio will be somewhere around 11.5:1 and YZF-R25(11.6:1).
It is also equipped with Throttle By Wire System and offers three engine modes which is deluxe compared with equipment mounted to other rival models.
It is mounted with suspension with inverted fork on front side and aluminum swing arm with Pro Link suspension on rear side which offers bank angle.
The new CBR250RR will be released in Indonesia at the end of 2016.

Main Characteristics
Newly Developed Straight Two-Cylinder Engine
The machine is equipped with newly developed Liquid-cooling 4 Stroke DOHC4 Valve Straight 2 Cylinder 250cc Engine that offers top class output performance.
Not only will it be easy to handle on the streets but also on the circuit. HONDA has succeeded to offer output that will perform smooth acceleration till it reaches high rpm.
Also, the Throttle By Wire System offers three engine modes that can be selected by the rider. It will pull out power to the linear and perform stable and high quality acceleration.
Unique Uplifting and Powerful Features
Headlights are installed with typical CBR dual LED bulbs which exagerate uplifting and powerful features.
From the lowered long nose to the highly tipped tail, the machine has a sharp wedge shaped style that will attract people's attention at a glance.
Newly Developed Body and Underparts
The frame is made from newly designed steel pipe truss structures which combines rigidity and flexibility. Swingarms are made from Aluminum and by forming a mountain shape on the arm on the right side, overhang of the exhaust pipe has reduced offering the vehicle narrow features and more bank angle.
It is mounted with inverted fork with excellent rigidity on front side and prolink suspension that can be adjusted 5 stages preload on the rear side.
Brakes are installed with ABS on both front and rear side. Also brake discs are equipped with large wave discs (Front 310mm/rear 240mm) to support the outstanding performance.
