[New Model] The Return of the Z: Discover the 2026 KAWASAKI Z900 SE!

Motorcycle & Industry

Kawasaki Motors will release the 2026 model of its large naked motorcycle, the Z900/SE, on Tuesday, July 15th. The graphics of the Z900 SE, which has been on sale since April this year, have been changed, and the standard model lineup has been revived.

The price is $10244.38 for the STD and $11458.53 for the SE. It will be sold only at Kawasaki Plaza.

The evolved Z is back with the original model! It's about 72.76 cheaper than the SE equipped with Ohlins and Brembo

The Z900 has undergone a major model change from the 2025 model. The headlight has been upgraded to three eyes, aluminum parts are used for the shroud, and it is equipped with cutting-edge equipment such as a newly designed electronically controlled throttle, IMU, cruise control, and quick shifter. Kawasaki's first meter with "turn-by-turn navigation" and a reshaped seat are also new. However, at the same time, the previous standard model has disappeared from the lineup, and only the high-class "Z900 SE" with Brembo brake systems front and rear and Ohlins rear shocks was left.

The Z900's 2026 model announced this time has the standard model back in addition to the SE. The brake calipers are made by NISSIN, and the differences with the SE are the same as before. Of course, the design and functions from the 25 model are the same as the SE. In addition, the price is $1214.15 cheaper than the SE at $10244.38 to make up for the difference in equipment, greatly expanding the options for Z900 fans. The only color variation is "Ebony x Metallic Carbon Gray".

The Z900 SE will have the same equipment and specifications, but will be available in a new color, "Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray x Metallic Matte Carbon Gray," with different colors and graphics. The price has also been revised, to $11458.53, up $75.88 from the previous price.

Both the standard and SE models will be released on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Both models will be available exclusively at Kawasaki Plaza.

The Z900 SE was introduced in April this year, and the 2026 model has already been announced (the photo shows the 2025 model).

In addition, the discontinued STD "Z900" has also been revived. Its new specifications, such as the aluminum exterior and electronic control, are the same as the SE.
