The V85TT series, which MOTO GUZZI calls "classic travel enduro," features a retro-modern adventure style that has been embraced by old-school MOTO GUZZI riders as well as a wide range of riders thanks to the recent boom in adventure bikes. A new engine variable valve timing mechanism compliant with European Euro 5+ was adopted to increase power output and improve throttle response at low rpm.
The V85TT offers powerful performance from on-road to off-road with its torquey engine.
The new engine's variable valve timing system begins operating when engine speed exceeds 6500 rpm and rotates the camshafts to delay the cams by 7° (14° throughout the timing diagram) with a maximum value at 7000 rpm. In the fully open position, the camshaft's clever timing promotes intake efficiency at high rpm, resulting in increased power output. A dedicated timing sensor continuously monitors variator position for optimal engine parameter management. Furthermore, 90% of the maximum torque is generated by 3500 rpm, with maximum torque of 83 Nm at 5100 rpm. Throttle response and flexible response from low to high rpm.
It features LED lights and LCD meters, as well as traction control and cornering ABS.
The gauges feature a 5-inch full-color TFT LCD panel that displays all information in an easier-to-read format. New handlebar switches provide easier and more intuitive access to all functions, including cruise control.
