The V85TT series, which MOTO GUZZI calls "classic travel enduro," features a retro-modern adventure style that has been embraced by old-school MOTO GUZZI riders as well as a wide range of riders thanks to the recent boom in adventure bikes. The V85TT offers powerful performance from on-road to off-road with its torquey engine.
The new engine's variable valve timing system begins operating when engine speed exceeds 6500 rpm and rotates the camshafts to delay the cams by 7° (14° throughout the timing diagram) with a maximum value at 7000 rpm. In the fully open position, the camshaft's clever timing promotes intake efficiency at high rpm, resulting in increased power output. A dedicated timing sensor continuously monitors variator position for optimal engine parameter management. Furthermore, 90% of the maximum torque is generated by 3500 rpm, with maximum torque of 83 Nm at 5100 rpm. Throttle response and flexible response from low to high rpm.
